Ok, I need to know this for my [RHA] char so ill explain my question with a scenario...
RM and Hessians are enemys
RM and Liberty are enemys
Liberty and Hessians? Are they Netruel now?
Imigine a fleet of navy ships breaks through a Bering blockade into Hamburg. The RM have retreated back to the Westfallen. Then a group of Hessians come along and sit near the Navy a bit back from the Westfallen.
Should the LN engage the Hessians?
Should they communicate to co-ordinate an attack plan?
I think that the LN and Hessians are mutually freindly right now but I cant be certain and dont want to be in a tight spot and do the wrong thing.
I think you will find the Hessians will begin attack protocols against the Liberty forces since a foreign power attacking your people and infrastructure with no regards for the locals will be infinitely worse that the government forces that they are fighting to force reforms on.
The Hessians are a bit like the Xenos. They are enemies with their house police and navy, but they are willing to ally with them to repel external threats. Maybe not openly ally... but they won't fight each other.
The Liberty navy would be hated more as they promise to bring greater troubles to Rheinland.
If Liberty were to occupy Rheinland they would turn on the Hessians immediately as they would want to remove any potential rebellious focal points.
Not only that but they would start moving Liberty corporations in and making sure they replaced all Rheinland corporations where possible to further Liberties wealth.
Anyway you look into it a Liberty controlled Rheinland is far worse for any Rheinland unlawful than the way it is now.
It is not really a question of who do you hate more, it is a question of do you wish to give up any chances for change and betray your people to foreigners.
The Hessians hate the Rheinland government not the Rheinland people.
The answers to your questions about the Hessian RP.
First and foremost Hessians are revolutionaries who like to see Rheinland's Kanzler over-thrown. So to speak to free Rheinland.
Secondly, while Hessians have nothing in particular against the foreigners they don't like the idea of Liberty ruling Rheinland either. They are a patriotic bunch of people and will defend their homeland against foreign incursion while also fighting against RM.
So the Hessians do not hate LN. At least not at the moment. I'd say they hate RM more, but invading forces are not to be tolerated either.
In very simple terms.
RM is the enemy, but if you see a Liberty Navy ship you are to make an temporary alliance with RM to fight the LN ship. But you may not ally yourself with RM against anything else really. After you have destroyed the LN ship you'd do wisely to not engage the RM. Just tease them a bit and so on...
If you see LN ship in Rheinland systems (Hamburg, New Berlin etc.) first tell them to get out of Rheinland and if they do not get out engage them. But as a Hessian you have no business going to Hudson or Bering at the moment.
BUT AT THE MOMENT THE WAR HAS NOT OFFICIALLY STARTED YET. So, if you see a LN ship in Rheinland now just leave it be for RM to handle. Or better yet tell the ship pilot IN PMs that the war has not started yet and he should get back to Liberty before he causes trouble.
For the reps. Being neutral with Liberty military forces is now good. If you have green rep then get rid of it. When the war starts officially it's time to get red reputation towards the Lib Navy.

Xeno's hate outsiders because they're essentially causing so many job losses in Liberty. With a Rhienlander being an "outsider" and all, you'd think they'd fight with the lawfuls to get rid of them.

So basically, only if there is a Liberty personage involved, would a Hessian be on neutral terms with the RM.
I dare to disagree. Rheinland's unlawful organizations have nothing in common to the Liberty ones.
The Role Play between us ( RHA , VF and LWB ) and the soon to invade , Liberty Forces is yet to be fully unfolded. Our stand towards Liberty is hard to detirmen and is in no way , one sided.
Loogas pretty much explained the situation and how it should be played out , for now.
I dont know how rest of hessians but RHA is hostile to both RM or LN with exception of defending Rheinland.

If you spot LN vessel in Rheinland, Sigma 13, Omegas, Hudson or Bering... your duty is destroy them or help to RMs (or alies) do it. After that if you are still alive and RMs are alive too its only on you if you will continue in fight with them or if you just leave area.
We are not helping RMs in Liberty... it is their war there.
Edit: as loogas said, Hudson and Bering isnt our business now BUT if alies (LWB, Budshuch, Outcasts) or friends (Unioners) ask you for help there, you are free to do it.
