Good day.

We in Bretonia are disappointed, distraught, dismayed, disconcerted, annoyed, affronted, angry, aggrieved, exasperated, embittered, enraged and embarrassed, yet we are still willing to resolve our differences peacefully.

When the remnants of the Enclave escaped our justice after the Liberation of Edinburgh, you did not turn them back, you did not arrest them, you did not trial them, but instead, they now sit in your government! This is not only shameful, underhanded and barbarous, it is also a direct violation of the Leviathan Accords, Section Two, Point One. In response to this, we believe ourselves to have the right to make these demands:

• Gallia will immediately extradite Admiral Louis Dupouy, who was in command of the Dax Fleet during the Glassing of Leeds, to Bretonia.
  
• Gallia will immediately notify Bretonia if any surviving legitimate members of the DeFrance dynasty are found in Gallia and extradite them to Bretonia as soon as possible.
  
• EFL will provide free maintenance to all elements of the EFL TLaGs network in New London, Leeds and Tau 31, for the following 10 years.
  
• IDF will rebuild or finance the reconstruction of what prewar spatial infrastructure is left to rebuild in Leeds within the next 10 years.
  
• GMS will finance the colonisation of Planet Carlisle for the next 10 years.
  
• Gallia is reminded to follow all decisions of the Leviathan Accords, except as said here.

You should notice that all of our demands, except the first two, are in accordance with the Leviathan Accords. The first two are additions to Section Two, Point One, in response to your violation of the same.

I must also remind you, or inform you, that Bretonia has come to an agreement with the Empire of Kusari and the Crayter Republic. If Gallia does not agree to comply with these demands within one week, our three states have decided that we will, all together, have to take action.

Bretonia seems to have missed a lot since the end of the Second Gallic War, so allow us to clarify and make you familiar with what happened since then. The Confederacy of Gallia was at war against Kusari, when Enclave made their return and gave us a hand of help. The Reformed Empire of Kusari attacked our glorious House at its grim hour, wearing a weak justification that would even a kid never believe in -- to discontinue weapon of mass destruction in Confederal Defence Forces, that had no Valors equipped Warwolf cannon left in their ranks. Yet, we have to thank our neighbour - this war united Gallia, a foreigner did what mad royal family didn't achieve after centuries of suppression. Yet, the Enclave had to agree with a term of discontinuing the nobility institute, declaring the DeFrance family and those who hold guilty for ordering the actions that are shameful for an officer of the Navy to meet swift and just punishment -- the death penalty. Those, who refused, officially or not, became a pro-royalist terrorist group known in Gallia as Fleur Royale or Gallic Royalists to Sirians.

The people of Gallia and the Gallic Union hold no responsibility to Bretonia: all the economic damage done by the Royalists and only them. It is regrettable to see that Bretonia, Kusari and Crayter have signed a pact against Gallia, which shows once again that it is impossible to use diplomatic ways unless you can prove otherwise.

Hello, Mr... or is it Mrs? Hello? Well, it isn't quite polite to hide from us, is it? Our states are not on friendly terms, but the Gauls I dealt with during the time of the Confederation, would stick to their manners even as they are snuffing the life out of my body! What's happened? Have you allowed brutes from the streets to replace you? Have you confused the Gaian wildlife that those beastly Royalists brought with them, and appointed that to office? Oh dear, it seems all this excitement has made me impolite too, allow me to introduce myself: Nigel Swindle, at Lady Mountbatten's service! And I will respond in her name, because she is... all those things she enumerated in her first letter, by your treacherous response.

This is how matters will proceed from now on. Bretonia will impose a total embargo on all shipping from and to Gallia. Kusari already has. Crayter is due to soon. Now you only have Rheinland. Your economy is at their mercy, they hold the golden knife over your jugular, you are effectively -- Rheinland's puppet. Welcome to your new life. You have chosen it.

The core of the whole affair is, we Sirians utterly despise it when someone breaks their own treaties. We see the act brought to justice, and we never forget it. I don't know what it's like in Gallia, but to me it seems that you see treaties as no more than pieces of paper. Now, in this very correspondence, you have just broken the same clause of the Leviathan Accords again, this time the second part of it. It very clearly states that Gallia is indeed economically responsible for the damage inflicted to Bretonia. The treaty says: "The Nation of Gallia will not deny them." And then you say: "ThE pEoPlE oF gAlLiA aNd ThE gAlLiC uNiOn HoLd No ReSpOnSiBLlItY tO bReToNiA." I'm sorry, what? You insult us! You don't only betray us, you dare insult us too! If we were not so far away, and if you did not hide from me, I would throw down my glove and challenge you to a duel this very instance! Outrageous!

But, there is still a way out. We will never forget any of this, but we are willing to go over it. Accept our terms, and everything will return to as it was before. That is all. Good bye.
