Economic Aid Arrives from Kusari

LEEDS - Ten years ago, the Kusari Naval Forces held Stokes Station proudly in their hands. Yesterday, news came that investors financed by the Kusari Government started depositing enormous sums of credits to the BMM's account for the Stocks for Stokes reconstruction programme. Why is Kusari suddenly investing in Bretonia?

It would seem that this move is all but sudden. We remind our readers that Kusari provided invaluable humanitarian aid to Bretonia when it was most needed, during the Leeds Disaster. There has been an increase of investment from Kusari since then, but the reconstruction of Stokes Station is the most significant mutual project between Kusari and Bretonia for now. We were informed by the Office for Trade and Industry that this project was part of the Harris Treaty and that without Kusari's help, it would potentially have to be postponed by an entire decade. Minister of Trade and Industry Sir Henry Fairfax told us that Kusari was seen as an unlikely partner only a year ago, but that this disregard was a mistake of the Royalist cabinet and that he hopes for even more mutual projects in the future. He added: "Kusari has never apologised for what they did in the Tau War, but they are a nation where pride and honour are worth more than life, and this is their tacit way of saying they are sorry." Should Kusari be forgiven? According to the Bishop of Leeds, regarded by many as a living martyr, they should. "Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends", he recited a proverb from an ancient text when we visited his sermon.

Moral debates aside and back to the churches and the universities where they belong, Kusari's economic aid is expected to bring palpable improvement that will be felt by the common citizen. The reconstruction is rescheduled to start much sooner, and it will provide many well-paid jobs. We do not know the exact date yet, but the BBC will continue to cover this story as it develops.

The fall of Leeds hit the Sirian economy hard. The revitalization of the sector is important not just for Bretonia.
We are glad that Bretonia accepts Kusari's humble assistance, it is the least we could do to assist a neighbor following the tragedy of Planet Leeds and the crimes against humanity committed by the Gallic Royals.

I hope the Treaty of Harris will provide lasting peace and security between Bretonia, Kusari, and the Crayter Republic. The Royalists are something that Gallia needs to extradite for their horrendous deeds that they have done over the past decade. While I can't say much about Kusari, I hope they will apologize to us anytime soon.

It's so sad that the poor Queen cant buy normal trade lanes and jump gates, and they must use this ugly Gallic tech which also show how bad BAF since they allow to build it in their space due war lol.

You dare call our Leeds act of mercy a "Disaster?" Your blasphemy shall be your undoing. Kusari have sealed their fate, New Tokyo shall become as Leeds has and New London will become. We will finish what Charles has started.
