It's come to my attention recently that one of your operatives was quite disrespectful.
Now I'm not privy to what this man's, shall we say, unique life experiences are - but we're not the sort of people that enjoy being spoken down to whatsoever. Humiliate a chunk of society for generations, and you have a potent recipe for spite.
I'm not going to make any demands or issue veiled threats, but I do think we've been a reliable partner to you, enough to deserve better than this.
While I do not have the luxury of knowing your name, which would have come in handy later which I will address later, I would rather hear you during more pleasant circumstances. You must have had luck encountering a pilot who clearly is not a fan of Xenos… but our rules and discipline reinforce professional standards and forbid applying personal beliefs into situations where they represent The Order in any capacity. We will be running inquiry whether it is a singular anomaly of a frustrated mind under pressure of duty, or a more persistent issue we have to work on. I assume it happened in Independent Worlds? Tempers run high over there as of late.
Now, I weigh action more than words. Despite you not asking for anything, I would like to formally express our formal apology. I will arrange for a freighter, loaded with gear and a month's worth of ration of some luxury goods that our Officers are accustomed to. Genuine Corsair rum among them. Hopefully it will be sufficient compensation for any perceived slight and offer some days of good R&R that should far outweigh an incident of verbal abuse. Here I would appreciate who I send it to, and where. Should any other Order operative give your people any problems in the future, my office is open to discuss it.
