Good day, to whomever it may concern. My name is Leon Vicci.
Having now run the Starfliers company for quite some time, an idea has recently come to me that perhaps having a few ships for different roles is spreading myself too thin. One for transporting goods, another for charting systems. Our main vessel even compiles rift analysis, if you can believe that. All the technologies used here are for the betterment of my company. What I'm thinking is to obtain a vessel that can do all these jobs, a multi-purpose ship. I'd like to talk business for a moment with you, when it comes to one of your liners. Specifically, the Shukensha-Class liner I keep seeing on display at your shipyards in Shikoku.
There's quite a bit I would love to learn about Kusarian design, and this particular vessel strikes my fancy. If you have the time to be interested in this, I'd like to continue our chat.

It's great that one of our ships has caught your eye. It's an honor for us to be contacted by those who are willing to boldly go where no one has gone before. Shukensha can be customized in a number of ways. But something tells me you have something bigger in mind. But, i must admit, that part of our methods are proprietary.
But lets focus on your idea for now.

Our origins are somewhat tied to Orbital Spa & Cruise, and spending a bit of time learning about their Enterprise-Class liners. From what I have seen, they are of a modular internal design and can be fitted for almost any role. This is good news for us, since I wish to apply our idea to your liner.
The Starfliers' main vessel, the '\S/'NX-01 is a Bustard fitted for hyperspace research and analysis. What I am thinking is to have a Shukensha-Class be internally redesigned to match the performance and role of my Bustard. Transferring any hardware and equipment to the liner from the Bustard and my station in Kepler. If you say your methods are proprietary, I understand. Though we are willing to contract others, or assist you ourselves, in getting anything you need to make this happen.
Let me know if this task is something we can move forward on. Your corporation has one above Orbital, being that you have a shipyard. In-house construction is always more reliable.
PS. Does Renzu Shipyards have a training facility on board? Looking at the default version of the liner on the Neural Net, I don't have the training nor the team to pilot such a vessel.
What kind of hyperspace research, If I may ask. To perform a hyper jump you need hefty power core, which Bustard provides. And Shukensha doesn't need that much power. So we need to literally shove huge power core into frame. If, you need it only as rift explorer, than it easy to do. So here I need more insight. Plus, if we're talking about deep modification, that will require some time, And we need your specialists in a field of hyperspace field generation. We can transfer your equipment and perform maintenance on your NX vessel. Just feel free to visit our shipyard. Yes, we do have onboard facility to train crew, so don't worry, your crew won't dissappoint you.

Part of my business entails gathering up-to-date rift information for any interested party. This means we go out and find a suitable sector of space to start analysing the cosmic makeup and feed that into our Rift-Jump Drive to produce a "jump vector." These vectors we sell. Currently, we can only do one scan before needing to refuel. Part of my plan is to obtain a custom ship that is able to perform multiple scans before needing to refuel.
You mention hyperspace jumping, this has indeed been our preferred method of travel, both as an explorer and to get our contract work done. Recently, I've come to the realisation that I'm missing a lot of what Sirius has to offer. Instead of Rift-Jumping everywhere, I'm starting to fly between points A and C, hoping to find out what B is. In other words I'm wanting to keep the Shukensha-Class free from jumping technologies. Albeit, still keeping the Matrix and Surveying tools installed.
To be honest from a distance, the Bustard looks too much like a capital ship of some kind. Doesn't look friendly, even unarmed. What the Shukensha-Class shows me is that there's a ship that has the prospect of taking over the NX-01 as the Starfliers' capital ship. A friendly and not so threatening vessel capable of being a portable home, research vessel, rift analyzer and more. My science officer Albert has his own list of ideas for the liner. If you'd like to meet to see what he has in mind, and what can be achieved, feel free to ask.
I hope you see that this isn't a simple request to purchase this liner and fly away. No, I want the best ship there is to represent what the Starfliers are.
Very well then, to be honest, you've spared us kilotons of work. I think I'll pose a bit, but Shukensha provides almost everything that our customers desire, as long as it doesn't break the laws of common sense and physics. I'll gladly meet up with your officer. And after that, we'll arrange details.
