With the Northern front secured against incursions from the Gallic Union, the ever-more ambitious Armed Forces turn their attention once more upon the Omegas. Having obtained crucial direct support from the Rheinland Military, the 5th Great Fleet is scheduled to leave in one week's time from Cambridge and head towards Omega-48.
In spite of that, scouts and several smaller contingents of the battlegroup have already ventured into Omega-3 and 48 respectively looking towards establishing an early foothold in the system. Meeting little initial resistance, they made their way onto Gran Canaria and beyond, linking up with the snubcraft sent by Rheinland. The two militaries now proceed towards their first rendzevous point, where they will await the rest of the fleet.
Meanwhile, the Corsairs, having intercepted the communication from the Armed Forces' Admiralty, have corroborated field intelligence with the plan's schemes. Seeking to inflict as much damage and to stall the invaders before the warships arrive, the Corsairs have called the Unioners to aid them. The two factions now set off on their mission, whilst the enemy was unprepared for the unfolding situation.
The outcome of this event will have direct consequences on future BAF roleplay.
Rules:
Only applied players may participate in the event.
Only Fighters (LFs, HFs, VHFs, SHFs) are permitted.
No cloaking, restocking, or excessive running (>20K from event area).
