Est. 829 A.S. by independent entrepreneurs Vecesco Trebitti (CEO) and Vincent Dotorri (COO), New Horizon Industries [NHI] operates across all of Sirius using a unique business model. Rather than having direct employees, NHI is comprised of independent contractors that work under a communal agreement. The NHI corporation fulfills a variety of contracts, spanning from courier jobs and logistics operations to mercenary jobs and clearance of installations.
The NHI corporation now consists of multiple contractors of different origins, including the well-known Owens family that recently signed a merger contract with NHI, sharing all their assets with the corporation in return for additional manpower and financial support of their construction operations.

BUSINESS MODEL

A contractor carrying the NHI transponder is allowed to fulfill any contract for any client, as long as they give their share to the NHI corporation. In return, NHI makes sure that the contractor receives contracts that fit their skills, and provides financial support in hour of need.

LEGAL DETAIL

While NHI contractors may choose to fulfill contracts that sometimes conflict with house laws, the corporation encourages its contractors to abide the law and does not officially support any contract that breaks the laws of the house within which it was executed. The corporation holds no liability for individual contractors breaking house laws, but will reconsider its relationship with the individual contractors.

To apply for New Horizon Industries, a contractor must already own a spaceship of any sort and have an established background as a freelancer. NHI is a liberal corporation that accepts contractors regardless of their ethnic or cultural background, as long as they're law-abiding citizens and have the will to contribute to the corporation's success.
