BACKGROUND
Ruthless, unprincipled, reckoning only with the lives of its people and its "colleagues", The Core has never been particularly humane to its enemies. They were born courtesy of the Republic of Liberty and served as "war dogs" in Omicrons, but after a while their independence in that remote region of space began to grow stronger.
Giving them excessive freedom was a big mistake: now most of the Core military stand with their hands up to their elbows in blood, and their commanders have one foot in hell. They do not regret what they have done and are only proud that their Imperium is expanding in such ruthless ways, crushing and destroying anyone who gets in their way.
The methods of war and research used by the Core are inhumane. They will go to any lengths to achieve success. Time continues to pass, and the lull in the Omicron is interrupted by new news - the formation of the first fleet of Imperium Omicronis. Under the banner of this fleet will rise all those who were soldiers of the Core and it seems to be a signal that the Imperium is ready to raise the stakes.
Omicrons are on the cusp of a new war.
