I am Bastiano Piacentini, one of the many people tasked by the Hispania Imperial - and operating under the Soledad Assembly - to maintain Malta's influence through the shipping of our well-known cardamine. The reason I am contacting you is simple, and I will be brief about it.
Your deal with the Xenos, whilst a dangerous endeavour, could prove rewarding for both sides. As a first step towards this, Hispania Imperial wishes to support your attempt at securing such a supply of cardamine in hopes that the safe shipment of our drug will not be threatened once more, as was the case before this deal was signed.
So, tell us. Do you require any support on your end? We are able to redirect a few shipments currently en route to Liberty over to a location of your choosing, from which the Xenos will be able to continue its delivery. Such a move will allow us to monitor their capabilities to deliver our goods.

I am pleased to hear that even the Hispania Imperial is interested in this venture as Signora Amelia was not very inclined for it at the time when I published my report.
Nevertheless, Signor Piacentini, there is an issue with logistics while keeping this fledging trade route secret from the other parties in Liberty, at least for now.
In order to flesh out all the potential issues we might face, I would need the best freighter pilots you can spare as they will have to improvise a lot in these very beginnings. That should help us to streamline the new route faster and shake off potential pursuers.

We are most grateful to see that you are agreeing to assistance towards testing the Xenos' ability to act as part of our cardamine network.
The idea of using freighters - while it certainly means less cargo will be hauled over the long distances - is well-thought and Hispania Imperial can provide both the ships and enough cardamine to fill the cargo holds of several "Dromedary"-class freighters.
How many do you require on your part? Our first opinion on this is that 2 freighters, loaded with the required cargo, will be enough to act as a first step in this new business with the Xenos.
Let us know as soon as possible if you agree with this or if we need to request additional vessels to be transferred over to the supply heading to Liberty.

Freighters will be our only options for a quite some time, given the fact how crowded and awfully busy Taus can be these days - we need to evade Bretonian, Kusarian, Gallic and even Crayterian patrols while running our secondary highway, the larger transports would only be a liability.
Also, Signor Piacentini, our new intermediaries were rather poor during all those years and their general lack of proper infrastructure would render any heavier transports unsuitable for the task.
Freighters will have an added benefit of more flexible and adaptable cargo operations as they can be dispatched from and serviced at almost any base available to us.
Two freighters with proper escorts would do nicely, Signor Piacentini. While I have already procured and prepared three similar convoys already, the fourth one would be welcome for additional cargo volume and redundancy. The scouts are already mapping up the new corridors as we speak.

Eccellente, Signora. The two freighters are expected to enter Kusari space this Friday. They will be carrying approximately 1,200 units of cardamine total.
Where do you believe is the optimal delivery point? While we know the position of both Junker and Rogue installations, the Xeno ones remain a mystery for us to this day. Or perhaps a neutral point is better suited for this, such as Ames?

The planned final destination for our shipments is the Xeno base in Colorado, although I doubt that it will be ready in sufficient capacity by Friday, Signor Piacentini. Fontana Freeport in California, loosely affiliated with the Xenos, will do sufficiently for these few first deliveries as a 'buffer' storage depot.
