Operation Prelude

Following the successful defense of Deterrence's Sanctum, Corsair forces are now looking to again push back out of Gamma and Xi. A scouting party of Deterrence forces has been sent by Executor Nagash to assess the Outcast's strength and fleet composition in Omicron Theta. Alpha Conqueror Eduardo Montalban has proven to be a cunning foe in the past. Having met the man personally and being wary of a potential trap by the Outcasts, means that an all-out assault on Omicron Alpha is out of the question for now. The tide of war can quickly change.

With tensions running high, Malta's Hyperspace Starfleet are on the prowl to intercept any potential counter-offensive. Dispatching their own battle groups with the aim to contain enemy movements eliminates the possibility of a decisive resolution for both sides.

Battleground

The battle will be fought in Omicron Theta. Corsair forces will start at Omicron Gamma JH. Outcast forces will start at Omicron Alpha JH. Combatants will move towards G5, after all forces arrive and are ready.

General rules

No cloaking.
No docking / repairs / rearming.
Combatants must stay in-system, combatants that leave are considered destroyed.

Victory Conditions

Eliminate the enemy's capital vessel or destroy all enemy assets. If both factions manage to destroy each other's battleships, the event is considered a draw.
