Server doesn't show up on the list?

I used to connect to the server with Xfire, but the server doesn't show up on the list ingame. I have also tried with the DSUpdate, but the server didn't appear there either. I have reinstalled the game and modmanager, but it had no effect either.
Does anyone have an idea of what I should do??

I you using the Discovery shortcut, or just clicking on the exe?

There've been some serious issues lately with the Disco server showing up. If DUSA shows up for you on your list, then it's simply a case of waiting it out. Disco will eventually show up. (It's an IP thing that is beyond your control.)

If DUSA DOESN'T show up - then you've got serious issues and we need to take it another step.

(From the sounds of it, the server went wonky about the time there was an IP update and a DNS update, so it's up to your LOCAL ISP to find them so you can then get access - which can take anywhere from 4 - 24 hours.)

Ok, in Program Files/Microsoft Games/Freelancer/EXE you will have a program called DsInstallCheck.exe

Run it, and when it's done, save the result and email it to Sedrander@gmail.com

I'll have a look, and see if I can see any problems.

i have been trying to connect to the server for 2days now thinking each time i had installed incorrectly, to clear things up for me (and hopefully others) if i can see Discovery USA 24/7 server, then i have correctly installed discovery + freelancer?? i get a few other names on the list too such as:

evil empires revolt, rise of the fallen empires feerii, Freejacks


so to connect to the main server all i need to do is go for a zoot, wait a while and hopefully it will find the server on the list?? i figured it would be best replying to this thread rather then making another.

Ok I will mail the file to you asap. I found something else too. When I just made a fresh install without having the mod activated, the server does show up on the list... The problem is somewhere in the mod files.

I still can't connect. I have tried installing some program (can't remember name and are to lazy to check) that makes a lot of servers show up on the list. After the mod is activated the list is empty. Seriously I need some help with this. I must have some error in a file and it doesn't help to make fresh installs.
I haven't been connected for 2 weeks now so... Im getting desperate here!
