Let's ignore for a second the suspiciously deleted post by @TheDoctorXI, and focus on the faction first and foremost.

I can see a lot of people getting-along. This can only go one way, I'm afraid.

I am reserved about this faction request. It seems more as a pawn than a faction. How would I know? Connect the dots. Then maybe you will guess what I mean, or reach the same conclusion.

I would say it is indeed a "pawn faction "and has a massive no from me. But who am I to say except a simple, humble player, who just happened to be at the wrong place at the right time?

The presence ingame, the presence in the forums, and elsewhere is too minuscule that it isn't shouldn't even be conceivable to bring back Core|, into an OF. This is my final stance on this matter.

Hello! Please allow me to answer your feedback.

First, I'd like to address the tone that you're using. For a player that has, and I shall quote, "I prefer the RP in Discovery GC RP 24/7", in their signature, such a way of responding to a faction request is, well, not ideal to say the least. One would imagine that a person would give several thoughts to such a message before sending it. But that's hardly relevant, I suppose.

Now onto the actual message apparently sent here. Before I get into explaining "conspiracies", I'd like to redirect you to the well-known playerlist. Please take a deep and good gander at the Omicron and Omegas. You will see that for the past month(s), the only sources of interaction for us have been the Corsairs, whom generally just shoot us on sight without much thought, or traders that fly about without regard to roleplay either. While that can, sure, be shoved away, you'll see that there is little for us to do in-game in our main regions. On the other hand, the lack thereof of any Core indies makes it harder to even find new people to join the group and fly about. Anyone who has played in the Omicrons in the past year will know how hard it is to get any sort of activity going there if other groups like the Order or Nomads are inactive.

Secondly to that, there's the limited amount of players that are available in the faction itself to log. I am myself busy with studies for a good portion of the day, so whatever hours one can field into the game represents as much as we can do for the present time. Others like Groshyr are busy with IRL or devving, so obviously we are not going to be in-game 24 hours a day.

Thirdly, concerning the roleplay aspect. Yes, I agree, there is not much going on that end. However, we are attempting to adapt and roleplay in line with other events that are currently on-going in the game's universe (see: the last MD made by me). While probably not as visibly productive, this iteration of the Core has and is trying to keep a standard of roleplay beyond just organizing 20 PvP events that will only generate a limited response. Over the coming days, we'll try our best to also have more roleplay done and put in both in-game and on the forum.

Fourthly, this entire dilemma of... how should I put it... the faction being a "puppet" of the admins. I'm gonna be honest on this. If you believe that, please do not come here or to any of us to complain. No, but really. Faction creation requests are voted on not by a single person but by the entire admin and moderator team, with members of the staff team that are part of the group abstaining. If you've got questions onto this, shoot 'em in the direction of the staff rather than attempt to create god-knows what conspiracy. It doesn't exist. It's not there. We are only playing the game for fun.

I hope that that's answered your questions. If you've got others, I'll be glad to provide answers.

Don't worry about this. I edited my post about it above. As I said earlier... there's no conspiracy. It is just, a combination of circumstances, or so to speak.
