United Kingdom of Bretonia
Government Roleplay Feedback & Suggestions

Information

This page has been created to serve the purpose of direct communication between members of BretGov and the community of DiscoGC. We politely ask that only serious feedback and suggestions be posted for purposes of assisting both the official faction members and the govt. members with handling possible roleplay scenarios in the present and in the future.

Another matter we wish to clarify is that we will take all suggestions and/or feedback posted here seriously and they will be debate with both govt. members and the HC of existing factions that may be involved.

You might want to glance over the rules and see that BAF can do nothing about neutral "dead" POBs in Omega-3. Perhaps, this is related?

This is not possible by current server rules. Bretonian laws only apply in House space and in Dublin, thus we cannot enforce them upon other regions.

The only other alternative is sieging them down ourselves, however that is not possible either as it would be extremely ooRP to see, for example, a quarter or more of BAF| (or members of any other Bretonian faction) shoot bases that they are normally supposed to defend. We will continue, therefore to provide security for bases in Bretonia's interest zones (read: BAF, BPA & BIS shared ZOI) whilst we wait for other rule changes.

Thank you for the question.

Speaking of POBs, however. What about the absolute clustershite that is Planet New London's orbit, not to mention the random Newark-style POBs littering New London's debris fields?

No, this is not related, but I would gladly take part in another part of pob wars.

We have attempted to deal with the Newarks (More details here) in New London, however it is not possible both due to the high cost and limits of the rules, once more.

We cannot simply demand people to relocate their installations without breaking rules because it would then mean that bases that have complied with our House Laws are attacked.

The simplest fix to this issue is admin team intervention (and relocation of the bases) to deal with the PoBs appropriately.

Is it still there?

Can you at least talk to PoB owners to disable WP grid on New London? It makes the system extremely annoying for unlawful people, they can't even use tradelanes without dying and it also hinders pvp activity.

Liberty grid can at least be bypassed by taking the other junction, and has been used to protect RPers in orbit - NL one is simply obstructive.

There will be no changes to PoB regulations in regards to the platforms' targeting until PoB changes are implemented that prevent them from firing at hostiles unless under siege.

We understand this may not be the best of replies to provide, however the effect is too little to matter and most fights take place outside of New London as well. Should this change, we will take another look at how PoB WPs are targeting hostiles and when.
