Consequences:
If you are in a fight and engage, you can not suicide and come back in let alone twice. Your guns have run away in shame, seeing as they were expensive ones, your money was safe this time. Try not to do this again.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. This is me, I am actually very glad this precedent has been set in the game now, and thank you for it - no longer can people suicide >15k away and return to the fight. It did always seem strange that this was commonplace, I used it as have countless others.
This is a logical decision that will change the game for the better. It hurts to be the first person sanctioned for it, I apologize to =CR= for using them like this, but this is a wise decision from the staff and I thank you for it.
I would just like admins to once and for all clarify as you are setting a precedent for the entire server. I was in the fight. Flew >15k away from it, suicided, and came back restocked - this is what the sanction is for, correct?
Docking and restocking out of range of an engagement, while frowned upon, is allowed, since it can be established whether or not it took place within the area.
However suiciding is not, because there is no way to prove if the bluemessage took place in range or not.
