Light Fighter Seth

Somehow i get design ideas closely before i fall into sleep. In such cases i have to put other projects away and to bring the idea onto desk.

This is the result:



Okay, the trigger was, when an Order player complained about the lack of an Order light fighter. So yes, its basicly designed by me to take this task and it is skinned with Liberty fighter textures. Well, the design does not fit the other Order fighters and if Order players don't want it, probably another faction does. Reskinning it is no problem.
It could also be a new model for the BHG LF MKII "Sea Serpent".

Oh and i need a name for, if it goes to another faction than BHG.

Seems very much like an order drone, Rather than a LF, something even smaller, an interceptor sort of ship.

If it does become a drone, calling it a Sashet might be smart. Sashet being the goddess of wisdom/knowlege, scrolls, books and the like, a surveillance/recon drone makes sense. (Also why I chose that callsign)

I think, actually, that if this one becomes a superlight, drone/interceptor sort of a ship, then another light fighter could be used to connect it into the main design....

Thickening the wings and removing a bit of the curve for a more polygonal shape would help an aweful lot, too.

Also..if the whole order fighter line were smoothed out a bit, to better fit this sort of ship, that would -also- be wicked cool.

orca much? - at least from the side it does look much like the orca. - if it went to the order, it would be a strange thing... cause both ships certainly share a design concept

Alternatively, it could make another Torpedo LF. Seems to have a torp tube looking thing, right under the cockpit. Two, three guns class 9/10 and a torp/cd.
