Question about battle slots events

I'v posted this question in one of the topics in the events section of this forum, but noone answered, perhaps here ill find someone more helpful. Let's supose that im playing civilian fighter with generic pirate id. Will it be possible (theretically at least) for me to join to unlawful side of any battle after apropriate arrangements ? Or maybe such events are exclusively for faction members ?

I think it would depend on the particular groups involved. It'd probably be best to ask the leaders involved directly.
