Overview

This event will happen in Connecticut. There will be 2 teams of players that will be divided using equal classes of ships. The teams will not be faction-based and therefore anyone can participate and bring almost any ship they want to the event.

The event will consist of 2 Bustards that will be fully armed. Each team will have their own bustard carrier to defend while at the same time, needing to destroy the enemy team's bustard. Each team will be either setup as Team 1 or Team 2 and land at their respective player base in conn. Player bases will be generated in Connecticut prior to the event for each team to land on for this event and will be stocked with supplies. Each team will have a maximum of 1 or 2 Heavy battleships and about 2 or 3 other Medium or Light battleships, along with a balanced mix of cruisers/destroyers and snubs. The use of Battleships may be changed depending on team size. As stated before, any ship can join this event but team's will have ships of equal strength on each side to prevent one side having an excessive advantage in some way. For example, 4 Core destroyers will not be allowed to all be on the same team at once as class-stacking will not be permitted and players that want to play a lot of the same ship class or type will be evenly divided between teams. Teams will be setup shortly before the event starts and will be monitored during the event to ensure they are balanced. The team that destroys the enemy team's Bustard the most number of times will win. People of all skill levels and factions are welcome to join.

There will be signups for this event only for the ships that will have limited roles but you are not required to signup for this event to participate. Signups will be needed for those that want to play the Bustard roles and the Heavy battleships. RP lines still need to be dropped every time you respawn/engage in combat. Please note the Nomad dreadnought will not be allowed here.

Event duration:

Saturday June 10, Starting at 18:30 server time for team setup and then event will start by 19:00, going for 90 min. This will be a infinite-respawn pvp event at the same time.

Rule changes:


-Cruising is allowed

-Cloaking is not allowed

-The bustards may not cruise or cloak, but may fly up to 20 – 25 km away from their starting base and need to stay on the plane. They may fly farther away and off the plane if being attacked.

-Repair ships will not be allowed

Would this not be a better event if it was outside of Conn due to the fact that it will not count towards the server activity, which would make more sense to be honest.
