Many of you have probably already noticed that the server's had some issues today. We've shuttered the server for the moment to figure the problem out. It took us longer than expected, since our staff with access to the server's host machine were unavailable.
We understand that the "undocking into the sun" problem may have set some of you back some equipment and consumables. A short-term rollback has been discussed to alleviate that, but we'll apprise you of our plan once it's more concrete. For now, we suspect an issue with the POB plugin, considering the symptoms we've observed, and we'll need some downtime to get it fixed.

You may see the server go online and off again; we're currently testing something. Don't expect much luck for now, but we'll post here when the server is playable again.

It seems undocking places the ship in the middle of the system.
edit1: undocking in Pennsylvania seems to work fine.

Aside from frequent server crashes, I'm also reporting a late serious ping and lag issue (up to 700ms and 80% of lag), which literally does not allow me to play normally. This never happened to me in the past, as I always used to play at 18-29ms... My internet works perfectly, I actually tried to reboot it primarily, as well as my PC with hopes that the ping issue would be fixed, but unfortunately that was not the case. I'll be awaiting for a fix in that matter
