From Encycloshipia, Your Free Spacecraft Historical Reference: Commissioned in late 789 A.S.[1], LNS Greer (hull code DE-672) served without distinction on multiple fronts and in multiple wars, failing to notably contribute to any major engagement.[2] Tasked with electronic warfare and countermeasure duties, the Mark 1 Block 2 Defiant-class gunboat was often kept in reserve, spending near her whole career under the command of Captain Walter "Shithouse" Brick.[3][4] Retired, along with her captain, in 829 A.S., the Greer was purchased by the Liberty Police at a Naval surplus auction, rechristened "Braxton", and pressed into service once more as a heavy support craft. Her lack of combat action has resulted in a spaceframe free from major defects. While her armor layout remains the identical to original Block 2 Defiants, it is of higher-quality pre-Gallic War construction.[5]
