The ship's only purpose is to maintain the peace in IMG Space, and to protect traders who are under fire from
pirates. Secondary purposes include surveing deep space for new mining expeditions.
Special Note:
Captain Wilford is a good friend of a certain Norman Radclyffe, while how they met is uncertain it is known that Wilford owes alot to Radclyffe and at times even hands over command to him. But being the busy man he is Radclyffe is rareley aboard.

10:00 Launch From Singapore Shipyard. Refit Complete.
10:10 Patrol in the Tau Systems. Nothing to Report.
12:00 Course plotted to Freeport 4.
14:00 Entering Liberty Space.
14:20 Crosair is asking for Donations from a trader, in Colorad. We step in, LPI on the way. Pirate Flees to NY System.
14:30 Crosair is engaged with permission from LPI. Shields knocked out, hull down to 50% integrity. We remain with no damage what-so-ever.
14:32 We Dis-engage.
14:35 Crosair agrees to leave liberty space. A Crosair gunboat appears, and wants to know what happened.
14:40 The LPI inform the Gunboat that a fighter was pirating. Gunboat requests confirmation from us.
14:42 Comm Records are sent to the Gunboat and they agree to leave in peace.
15:00 Entering California.
15:40 Entering Megallan. Pirates can me heard on comm.
16:00 Pirate intercepted half-way between FP4 and the Manchester JG.
16:05 Pirate is told to leave. He does not comply, fire is taken from a Hacker Gunboat, not seen earlyer.
16:06 Gunboat ceaces fire. They are warned to leave.
16:07 Pirates do not leave. Alarm is sounded, all hands to battle stations. We engage the gunboat.
16:12 A second gunboat appears, we almost knock the first one's sheilds down. Our sields go offline and hull integrity is falling fast.
16:14 Captain Orders evasive manevers, course set to FP4. Ship escapes desctruciton.
16:20 Emergency dock for repairs at Freeport 4. Ship is evacuated.

The ship was lost to a pirate attack while defending shipping in Omega 3. The crew made it to Aland shipyard, safe and in one peice. A new Dolomite was commisioned.

Three weeks after first being commisioned the Dolomite is ready to fly.
Weapons tests are currently underway at a Testing Facilty within the New York system (//Conneticut). The ship's crew roster is not complete, as so far only the original crew are onboard. A Further 100 crewmembers will be added to the roster when ship trials are complete.
