Hammersee is a very inhospitable place, but relatively comfortable for a penal colony, or so the old-timers say. Everyone knows that once you're put in the rotation, your "temporary" release date doesn't actually mean anything. It's just a number which gets reset every time you go back up to Mecklenburg for processing. Then you get to enjoy the balmy weather of the Hellhole once again.

The loss of some their best strike agitators did not sit well with the Union Direktrat. If these men and women were intercepted and managed to disappear into Rheinland's underbelly, they could return to Alster forewarned and forearmed for a second attempt. But Mecklenburg is no Vierlande - its staff are bloodthirsty and utterly without a corrupt bone in their body, at least for the moment. The only option to get them and anyone else out is the use of force, and such an operation requires adequate preparations. While its remote location away from official Rheinland law makes this a possibility, the Rheinwehr is ever watchful of the system due to potential incursions from the GMG and the disputes over Saigon.

Fortunately, their old allies are ever willing to lend a hand, if it means the honorable destruction of their enemies. Corsair administrators on Petra have been constantly pushing for an expansion in their operations against Rheinland, and with the Munich-Xi connection completely gone, they've finally been given the green light. What better way is there to remind your adversaries of the thorn in their side than to make sure its pain is felt throughout the system? With the Direktrat willing to lend some support forces, it will truly be a matter of skill and strategy, and not superior numbers, to decide who should be declared the winner.

Hmm, I will try it. I heard the new update made them more viable. I feel like people just haven't brought them to events that often before.
