School was so boring compared to having flown with her brother. Sure, it was a simple cargo run. Sure she was flying escort. Sure, her ship was almost destroyed due to radiation. All of that happened but it was so much more exciting. Yeah, that whole situation being hunted by Outcasts when her brother went through a wormhole she hadn't been able to detect, but she managed to jink and get to the wormhole and then meet up with her brother. In the end, it was great.
Sadly, her ship was to be checked while she was to remain grounded. But no one had shown up to check her little Raven's Talon. Not a soul had come to take a look. She started to suspect her brother wasn't going to send anyone. So what else was there to do? Go flying locally and practice landing.
