PROJECT BATRACHOTOXIN

To: The Engineers and employees assigned to work amongst this design

Project "BATRACHOTOXIN" combines the aggressive nature of codename "WILD FIRE" and the terrible power of "MALACHITE" we've acquired into a retrofitted bomber weapon. This will be instrumental in bomber utilization among the BDM personnel assigned to long-term survey operations. It will also show our worth to the Kaiser, demonstrating the highest standard of Rheinland ingenuity since the creation of "VENOM".

This /should/ be a short-term project, so those stationed at AESIR facility to conduct the tests will not be on site frequently. Personnel will be rotated to ensure knowledge of the weapon's interior design is kept only to the Direktor. For certain durations of the project, Direktor V will personally take charge of retrofitting the aforementioned weapons for use on the 19-ARKM-N82 "Poltergeist" model. Use of the weapon and access to its final schematics are restricted to the access of Direktor V. Any unauthorized access, or more importantly - distribution of this information in any form to any entity will be punishable at the discretion of the Oberkommando.

The same strip down as we saw with the VENOM. The difficult part was certainly retrofitting the barrels to handle so much ionized plasma at such a high rate of fire. It was almost like creating a rapid "Firekiss" in a way. The ventilation system from MALACHITE was a strong foundation but still needed some tweaking. Some extra barrels were installed to alleviate heat/corrosion/strain on the weapon as it discharged. The core adjustments to the weapon yielded more positive results than I had imagined. The weapon is capable of discharging its projectiles at a rate of speed faster than even the mighty WILD FIRE weaponry while exceeding the stopping power.

The REAL success in this model is seeing my Ion Compression formula work again, re-applying the same general design from the VENOM gave me some doubts - but it worked nonetheless. Some of the engineers were curious, and I had to dismiss their curiosity with it being a "custom plasma core". Hopefully, if a fully realized weapon designer (or what passes for it here) falls for that - the Kaiser will fall for it as well. Scaling compression in a rapid manner - especially one this rapid - shows me that if this is possible - anything is likely possible.

Still, demanding more specific vanadium components will be a hurdle we'll have get over if we want larger quantities of these weapons. I fear our suppliers may start taking a look into the components as time goes on... guess I'll be investing in a refinery here shortly.

That's all for now, I'll be upgrading the clearance level for these and the VENOM weapons. No one is getting their hands on these.

I'm at a near loss for words witnessing this in use firsthand. The sheer power and oppressive nature of these weapons are not to be overlooked at all. If the SOA were outfitted with these and the VENOM weapons, they could quickly become the most dangerous special operations pilots in Sirius. The other houses haven't even scratched the surface of how devastating this could be... when I finally push it to its full potential. In conclusion, I will need to start creating more of these weapons to have stock in place - when the demand is seen. AESIR refinery is on the cusp of an upgrade right now, once we start utilizing the facility to create more Alien weapons - I will set aside some resources for BATRACHOTOXIN.

The weapons are mounted and ready to be utilized, it's time for me to look for volunteer test subjects - they'll have died serving their country in the end.

A final note: The BATRACHOTOXIN design will not receive a hard copy. After my discovery of the NEUROTOXIN, it is clear to me that any hard evidence of these designs is a liability. The hard copy of VENOM is back at my personal quarters and will remain there until I no longer require it.

Due to resource allocation efforts, the finalization of the BATRACHOTOXIN has been delayed. The final installation of the weapons for combat use on the 19-ARKM-N82 "Poltergeist" is in progress, I anticipate within the month I'll be able to test them in live combat.

In the meantime, the test set used on the Poltergeist model was transferred to measure compatibility on the R1 "Reaper" Edgeworld Bomber. The Reaper is a bit more well-suited for long-term firing time-on-target due to its nimble shape. After a few configurations to the the ship's power routing programming, we've managed to get it to work. Power demands on the Reaper will have a greater effect on the user's ability to switch to heavier weapons, but the BATRACHOTOXIN will likely be so powerful that won't even be necessary.

The use of these weapons in action has sealed my conscience on another idea. Something to consider when this whole Thuringia situation has come to relative stability. Some scrambled IFFs, these weapons, and Edgeworld ships to cover our tracks could go a long way in wrapping up any loose ends.
