I'm guessing armor upgrades were removed and merged into regular ship armor because the way they were balanced keeping them as a "gear" type was pretty pointless anyway (correct me if I'm wrong).
While removing them you seem to have forgotten those stashed on POBs. Are we supposed to sell them to get rid of them, and if they still work I guess people using them will be "cheating"?

Armor upgrades you see in game do not work, even though they are suppose to give you a 2.5x bonus to your hull, they do not. they're more like legacy items atm, unless the admins have changed the ones that are in the game to work against radiation to reduce the loss of health while exploring the new systems.
They do not work and I suppose you can just ask for a refund manually since stuff stashed on pobs was not touched by the tool that ran over the accounts.
