Greetings, my friends, i was brainstorming for a while and i wanted to ask. Many of you like to challange yourself. It's fun to sometimes leave the armoured sabre or titan or werewolf or avanger. Sometimes we like to take that Defender or Dagger or Bloodhound or starblazer and just fly around with those lovely class 4 guns. Thing is, right now all the rp and pvp concentration is on the elite fighters and other shipclasses, class 10 weapons and so on...but no need to neglect those smaller ships either.

Recently had the fun to fly a Hawk, decided to make it into a Xeno. Maybe will have a Navy defender and police Patriot. It's just fun sometimes to return to those old, vonerable times, what do you say? Give those smaller ships some love too, they are not only fun, but the nublets need some lovely designed fighters to fly, even if their armour is made of paper.

Imo, new peeps shouldn't need to trade for 30million to participate in Rp, those 30mil are needed only to be equal on the pewpew aspect.

Sadly I just don't see it working. People barely even fight if they dont have the best armour upgrade, and on the other side of the coin, people will attack you based on your name, or at least the shape of your ship, so you would probably spend a lot of time extremely frustrated. For those who want the challenge, there are plenty of low level ships, imo

I like small ships, but flying Bloodhound in Badlands is reall pain. I have smashed myself twice and I have switched to Mule.

There are many small ships - turanic, kiith, kadesh, but they look terrible. Someone could remodel those bricks to more fl-ish shape.

Btw. I would like to see a rogue vessel comparable to Falcon. Wolfhound is like Hawk, and Hyena (very good ship) is like Griffin.
And I didn't find rogue weapon class 6. Is there any?

that'ts the reason i made a Work-My-Way up freelancer.

i went through a variety of awesome-looking low level ships and weapons and ended up in a Marauder (i love them, pity so little people use them) even know i have enough cash to buy a nic VHF with loads of armour.

i like the challenge of low-level ships, i even took down a Falacata in it (in 4.84, when they were still agile) though it was a fluke (i suck at PVP)

Its a rule. While you're a hatchling in the XA (first 8 hours), you have to spend your time in a starblazer without extra armor.
I remember mine... some of the most fun times i ever spent on the server were in that blazer !

(get one.. you ll see why two of them can easily pwn a fighter in pvp)

Love for smaller ships could be either shown by faction specific rules such like in the example above or arranged events. And there is nothing restricting us to plot for them both. One could also have the fun of starting from the stratch if he desires to do so, nobody would prevent him.
