Luxury Liner question

Hello everyone! I have small question:

Is Luxury Liner available only for Orbital Spa and Cruise, or can be used by other Liberty companies as well? I intend to use it as Cryer Pharmaceuticals research ship (as I saw, Cryer ID now allows Liners). I saw technology chart, but Luxury Liner infocard suggests it is being used only by OSC...

there is no rule against it, jet, but i think only Orbital Spa and Cruise would (or should) operate Luxury Liners.

Its a shame we have no Passenger Liner (jet).

Hmm... I see... But maybe developing a proper RP for it (like saying it's modified version ordered by Cryer, oriented for research not luxury) could make it acteptable?;)

if the ID does not allow it. then sadly no. you cannot use it.

But the problem is the ID allows it. In 4.85 Cryer ID allows Fighters, Bombers, Freighters, Transports and Liners. Im just asking is this including Luxury Liner too:)

The cryer ID does allow all liners, so you certainly can use it. I think it would be best if you tried to use it to haul people (like VIP's and scientists) as much as possible, it doesnt seem very RP otherwise. It seems if they were going to be using it for non-human cargo they would use a different, less expensive ship.

I personally use a liner to haul non-human cargo, but I do have a fair amount of RP for it, although it has yet to all make it up on the forums.

I'd just like to point out that, despite what many people think, Liners are still able to carry whatever cargo they like. So don't let anyone bully you into roleplaying the way they want you to.

Agreed. Of course, you'll want a story for the ship and how you came to use it (like any other ship on this server), but don't let others tell you how to use it or not use it as long as you follow your RP.

If the ID allows Liners, it allows Luxury Liners as well.
