Heya there.
Audio quickly comes to life over the comms feed, the microphone struggling at first to focus on the syndic's voice rather than the creaking of heavy machinery and structural bulkheads being lifted into place or the distant shouts of work crews. After a moment's turbidity, though, her voice comes through clear as day.
It was, uh, unexpected to see a Technocrat in the Taus, but then again, I don't know too much about your people -- I guess you bunch try to keep it that way, or at least you've got a reputation for it, heh. Anyway, name's Elly Rezazadeh, but everyone calls me Rezz. Or "Mouse", if you're feeling affectionate slash trying your luck. Anyway, super jazzed to meet someone interested in my music, I used to do shows on NL and LA. Former, mostly Muswell-Neasden area, latter all over the place -- I've had to move around a lot. Used to perform with Fourth Corner, but my solo releases are all on the net under the name Baroque Hypostatic.
...I guess you wouldn't recognize either if you aren't into threep, hah.
She laughs; not at all nervously, more realizing how silly her rambling's coming off.
Anyway, you can look my stuff up on JJAMNET and get a feel for it if you like. I think you said you wanted some more low tempo shite, yeah? For that, I think you'd wanna give a listen to my album Stuck In Salinas, but to stop shilling myself for half a sec, there's this awesome witchstuck duo outta Vierzwei, on Hamburg, that I've played with a few times -- absolutely wonderful people, amazing energy onstage -- called Gorgas & Girard. Their stuff is really only tangentially adjacent to what I do, but they've inspired me so much in terms of the way they convey the "occultism and overdoses" vibes with their hyperbass harmonies, I really have to recommend checking them out for lengthier, more moodsome stuff.
Anyway, yeah, I hope this at least points you in the right direction when it comes to what you're looking for. I'm always down to talk jams, and if you play any, maybe we could get together for a sesh sometime. Hit me up whenever, and good luck with whatever brought you this far into the Taus.
Oh. I would not worry about my little travels, let's say I was on a personal exploration in order to find some answers.
An off the book stroll around.
Interesting. I'll check out your work.
Stuck In The Sailas by E. Rezz - is that the one? Or is that an impersonator?
I'm not quite sure what witchstruck is in terms of the genre? Have you ever heard of the Gizmos? They're an electronic band, who do a variety of styles, popular in Bretonia. Mainly for their new wave style.
