Kusari To Overhaul Foreign Policy

New Tokyo, 18.02.834 With the Bretonian Kingdom, after many weeks of failed negotiations, refusing to come to a compromise with the top diplomats of Kusari, the Foreign Ministry, through Ms. Sakura Ishimaru, has revealed that there are now 'very serious' talks inside the government for a complete overhaul of the diplomatic approach towards the rest of the sector. As neither Rheinland nor Liberty are stepping up to be the mediator between Bretonia and the other Houses on issues such as the supply of Gold, Kusari officials have given confirmation that the Foreign Ministry is preparing for precisely one such role over the course of the following months. On top of these news, Ms. Ishimaru also went on to say that Kusari needs a 'much more proactive stance' in the affairs of the Sigmas, pointing to the recent destruction of a Cryer facility by the Outcasts as a failure to respond promptly. A source within the Defence Ministry has hinted at the possibility of these changes being addressed to Rheinland first, at large due to their proximity both to a bolder GMG and to the nearby staging posts for the devastating Corsair raids. Nevertheless, even with talks ongoing, it is expected that the planned overhaul will take several weeks to fully materialize without concessions from the Sunrise Party.
