Do not question the atrocious state of this encryption, I made the code myself with a little help from those all-knowing eggheads in Ames. I'll save the nerd talk for later.
Regardless, If everything goes as planned, we'll start our PR works tomorrow. We're not entirely sure who we might start with, though. I'll be guarding Cruci for the time being, while they're going to be doing the talking. Leviathan, we are in position. Lazurith suggested that it may be difficult to get in touch with the local powers without reaching out to them first via direct channels. It may be more discrete than openly displaying our presence, but it lacks a personal touch. Regardless, I'm willing to take the initiative here if you think it's sensible.
The Coalition is going to be tough to get in touch with, considering their opaque foreign policy and bureaucracy. Do we have any existing diplomatic channels, or will we be starting from scratch? I'd like to know what to expect here.
If you're unable to make direct contact in person, I'll check with the Directorate to authorize neural net contact for you. They've been rather particular about my activities since I returned, so better to keep them in the loop too. I trust you, though. I'm sure it'll be done well in your capable hands. I don't know much about any pre-existing relationships, beyond a mutual distaste for Bretonia and The Corsairs expansion efforts. When I hear from the Directorate, I'll forward all intel I've got on the existing relationships, any existing channels or whatever you might deem necessary.
In the meantime, continue checking out the region. I've been off the field for a long time, and right now you're both my eyes and ears until I get back up to speed. I hope you're treating little Lazurith well. I know he has much to learn, but he's fast to catch on. OMRS reports that ID: AUX-LZR-104 is currently in critical conditions. Status: target is safely secured within rejuvenator pod. Stimulants administered; 70 milligrams of dopamine administered; 80 milligrams of norepinephrine injected through cardiovascular device (M7 BLOOD PUMP); 540 fibrinogen administered. Grievous second to third degree burns on multiple limbs have been diagnosed and temporarily quelled with cryoginophine (400 mls). Permanent damage to cybernetic implants has been detected. Internal bleeding detected. Patient's status is critical. Emergency treatment is required as soon as possible. Should the rejuvenator pod not be delivered to the closest medical center, the patient's vital signs are estimated to cease in the next 2 hours.
After the operation concluded, I collected Lazurith from Freeport 8 and securely transferred him to the support vessel Alpha Gruis. Alpha Gruis has state of the art medical facilities aboard, and has assured me that Lazurith will be taken to Planet Honshu once he has recovered.
As an aside, Adimari has been following me. I'm not sure how he determined that I went to Kusari, as I could have sworn I wasn't being followed, but he appeared in time to witness the transfer taking place. While our comms were entirely secure, and he didn't know I had been to the Freeport to collect Lazurith, there is a possibility that his position may be compromised.
On the plus side, Lazurith is projected to recover in a matter of hours. He's been immersed in regenerative solution aboard Alpha Gruis. Unless something unforeseen takes place, he should be fine.
