Hi there, I'm not sure if you remember me but we a spoke last night outside of Freeport 14...I was the gal in the barely functioning Bulldog. Well, I'm not sure if you heard, but...it promptly exploded in the landing bay last night after you all left. As it turns out, that weird engine quirk that I was experiencing was actually a feedback in the primary feeder coil...which was why the secondary coils were burning out. The cascading failure finally reached the primary coil--which was conveniently half-plugged up with something. The resulting explosion wasn't very potent (luckily) but it was the ships death knell.
Well, not to be kept down, I caught a ride with a departing Junker headed to Manhattan to check up on my original ship: the Troublemaker-I. Turns out it's repairs were completed so I decided to take it out to the track in Cologne like we talked about. When I got out there in the afternoon, I docked at Heisenberg to refuel and noticed a barely used Tiger Shark for sale. I decided that instead of racing against no one at the track, that I would buy it with my insurance money from the Bulldog and put it through it's paces out in the Omicrons to see how tough it was. Eventually, I found myself in Omicron Delta early this morning--flying through what the charts say was the Palau Ice Cloud. It wasn't long before I found myself smack in the middle of some kind of skirmish between Core ships and some strange green vessels. The Core won the fight, picked through some of the debris and left without saying nary a word.
I wound up looking around a bit and found a strange engine floating near the the cooling remains of one of the strange ships. Now, I find myself a fairly well-read connoisseur of ship engines but this one defies all logic. I hooked it to the main feed line on the Tiger Shark that I bought but found that it forced the powerplant into safe mode. I had to disconnect it, reconnect the standard engines, and force a restart. Everything came back up as normal. I find myself a little bit out of my depth with this engine. Any chance you can take a look and tell me what you think?
I'm still out in the Omicrons right now so it'll be a bit before I make it back. I figure I'll be around Freeport 14 in a day or so, maybe this evening if I push my engines to their limit. The IFF on this ship is "Whiplash" so you can identify me. I hope to hear back from you. Otherwise, I may just have to sell this engine for scrap.
You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark. Roleplay is dead. Long live Powertraders and PvP I guess.

Hi uh, it's me again! I was just following up to see if you could give me a hand? It's alright if not, I just need to know where I stand with this other ships engines and if you're free to help. Might break up the monotony of...whatever else you guys do...I honestly don't know what you all do...
[She awkwardly scratches her head.]
I don't know else to say, call me back when you can.

Oy.
I just ran into one of them things you said was "dead and gone". Seems to me the thing was right pissed that I even mentioned having a piece of it's tech. I wouldn't have bothered meshing the thing to my Tiger Shark had I known some homicidal toaster was gonna spring a can opener on my ship and try to rip it out. Good thing I wasn't actually in the fucking thing at the time else it would have ended with me sucking vacuum.
What gives, my guy? You might be cute but that doesn't mean that I'm not gonna whoop your ass if I don't get some answers and/or solutions. I don't really feel like having to look over my shoulder for the rest of my days for some eldritch nightmare that might randomly show up and leave me meeting my grandparents in whatever hell awaits me after death.

I am terribly sorry for my late reply, had to deal with a ton of things lately. But I'll get to the point, seeing as this has become a very pressing problem lately.
Let's talk about this dumbass danger toaster that's been bothering you. I've tried to... dissuade him from being such a hard-ass about a single piece of equipment going missing, but to no avail. It doesn't care, and it cannot be reasoned with - it wants that engine reactor back, no matter the cost. Even though it's not his, they really don't seem to like it when legitimate salvage ends into human hands. Stingy little bastards.
For now, its anger is directed towards me. And I'll be honest with you - we could run in circles around this until the end of time, but the Gammu can never seem to forget a slight, so stalling it until I can appease it and calm it the hell down doesn't look like an option.
We'll have to reconvene somewhere and talk about it, or else he's going to give us both trouble. Please let me know when we could work this out.
