Press Release on Status of Taus

In line with the primary objective of the Kusari Empire in the Tau region, namely the enforcement of stricter security measures on the Leeds - Tau-31 - Tau-29 - Kyushu commerce route, and as a result of the Bretonian Governments refusal to come to the negotiating table regarding the status of the Dublin system, the Imperial Office of the Lord Protector, together with the Naval Forces and in close cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, will begin reallocating resources towards the establishment of closer diplomatic ties with the key regional players in the Tau area.

Over the course of the following weeks, beginning with the Crayter Republic and the Independent Miners Guild, the Empire of Kusari shall march forward towards bringing a new era to the Taus, one of prosperity, trade and closer cooperation. Lord Mitsuo has expressed his hopes that this diplomatic effort, following in the footsteps of those announced months prior, will also do a great leap towards mending the broken ties between the Crayter Republic and the Independent Miners Guild after so many years. His Excellency also wishes to transmit sincere congratulations towards both groups for their continued support against the Outcast menace threatening the Sirius Sector.

Great efforts will also be made to secure new trade deals, however the agreements signed will have, primarily, diplomatic rapprochement and military articles as their focus. A future press release will cover the exact details to be discussed once Lord Mitsuo establishes contact with representatives of the Crayter Republic and IMG groups.
