Nova Torpedo launcher

I just bought a Nova Torpedo launcher and it wont launch!! I press shift+Q and nothing happens?...am I doing something
wrong?

Try setting it to it's own weapon group, also make sure you have the energy and ammo needed to fire

Fighter-Bombers can equip the torpedo but can't fire it. It is a known bug.
