yeah im makeing a story (all be itnow greatly accelerated due to recent events) and i need to lknow would an ex army captian (naimly jimmy my main charcter)be oorp/special rp/ if he bougnbt his old now mothballed gunboat thats set to be melted down and made it his home as hes a freelancer id run in brentionia and edgeworlds mabye even way out as far as omegas or omercrons just anywere away from liberty because frankly i dont make alotta charcters and im sick of this one ever present think in liberty"OHH BIG SHIP LETS KEEL IT OR OHH LAWFUL LETS PEW PEW HIM WITH A BAJILON PIRATE CRAFT translation:

and as such dont expect me to partakre in anything in liberty be it maydays or anything with the ft louisbourg oer whatever as of this monent im rping only feel fre eto fire on any of m ychars bt unless i get some form of roleplay out of you other than engageing or lets pop him or whatever dont expect me to fight back im not tgiveing the attacker the dignity nor wil li attack if needed again unless theres roleplay feel free to ground the louisbourg mark my chars a tratior whatever ive simply had enough infact probly afer i get the gunboat char saved ill probly stop playing for a LOOOOOOPNG time

EDIT: how do i get freelancer id can i just buy it or are there missions ifso where also the ship will be untagged just a freelancer id


/start rant //i figure if i go freelance as nobody bothers them ill actually get to roleplay,im sick i dont fight i get insulted i fight and lose im insulted i dont fight and im on my cap im called a capwhore i try to explain in fighter fights i lag im called a noob i try to play my charcter to the best of my ablity and some people even have the aaudacity to call me a "imposter" i tell people ive co written storys with ke lin and im told "fourm rp means nothing if you dont act it" well i do to the best i can and if you have a problem with me people feel freee to pm me i know i fail at fighting last thing you need to do is rub it

Edit2 add to rant: it seems that sense the 6 ore so months ive been here the sever roleplay has deterorited mabye its cause iom so narrow or mabye its me but whats happened

Edit3: why is it evrybodys (and i mean that majority speaking majority being ones i runinto)first reaction to blast whoeverts interacing with them (normally agresive types ie nomads mass murderes excluded) i mabye get a sentence before its "ENGAGEING "or some varation of it/endrant//

You can bribe yourself into the Freelancer faction, even though its not easy.

As for the GB, i would request a special rp for it.

I don't see too many issues - as long as you don't operate in Rheinland or Kusari, I don't think the lawful authorities will mind you. Unlawfuls on the other hand, will.

Well there is teh list of ships and weapons for Freelancers and mercs.. but i dont see a reason why not.. if you act as a lawful Freelancer you should be fie... on the other hand i saw "Merc's and FL's" that try to play for both sides.
Hogosha ship aiding the LN Barghest as well.... makes me wonder if its Just poor RP or its just me who thinks its wrong.

You can bribe yourself into the Freelancer faction, even though its not easy.

As for the GB, i would request a special rp for it.

That's not the case anymore. Go to Barrier Gate in Coronado with about 2m in cash, and pop-goes-the-Freelancer-Tag.

You would probably need some sort of special RP to have a liberty GB out anywhere other than Liberty systems, especially if you're not a HF or 522. I know I'd look twice if I saw a Liberty GB in O5. I honestly don't see a problem with it as your background and RP are pretty solid.

My question is what would you do with your gunboat? Also, your armament would be different wouldn't it? probably have to lose the forward cannon (Liberty wouldn't give that away) and the liberty turrets if you have any in favor of basics or other common turrets.

Well if he had a Liberty GB i reckon he should get the forward turret, i mean if libert let him have a GB why not the gun that goes with it?

Well if he loses the forward cannot the Gb don't have much to offer.. In that case he can choose many others that would suit him better.
