Due to the circumstances surrounding the sudden disappearance of Director V, I have reassumed Directorial duties at the Buro until if and when she returns.
As a measure to ensure the smooth continuation of our extra-organisational projects, I am reaching out to known assets in play for an accounting of sorts.
Given that there is little about you on file that was left to us by Director V, other than the means of contact and instructions for support, I would like to be debriefed about your mission at the soonest opportunity that your task permits.
So Viper vanished again? Well that's going to be a problem.
There's not much I can tell you about what I do at the moment. Viper and I have a mutually beneficial relationship - or used to have I suppose, now that she's gone again. She helped me with a thing or two to push my agenda, and I helped her with the whatever mess develops in Rheinland. Generally speaking both of us work towards the same goals, but with slightly different methods.
Last time we talked about a connection between the Wild resurgence in Omega-58 and an enigma in Ontario. I am supposed to keep eyes in Ontario and control the situation while she manages the Wild on her turf.
I guess it's common courtesy to let you know that any BDM assets entering Ontario should notify me ahead of time. This isn't a place you want to visit on a whim with everyone out here being trigger happy.
This is pretty much all I can share with you for the time being. We can talk about more sensitive topics over time as trust builds up between the two of us. I have a feeling you can agree with that since you said it yourself: there's not much info on my file and I don't know much about you, Direktor Siegfried. So let's work on that, yeah?

The Bifrost is currently holding in Coronado in support of regional operations. If your situation permits a visit to Coronado, they can spare maintenance capacity in their docking bays to restore and refit your ships. It would also give us the opportunity to have a secure conversation.
I'm touched by your intent to lend a hand with maintenance. This is an atypical situation that requires a personal touch so to speak, which means I can't accept that kind of help just yet. If I did you'd be running around the Valkyrie's hull just as clueless as I am. Hardware-wise everything is fine. The on-board operating system does not recognize the new powercore provided by Viper as compatible, so the safeties kick in and I'm locked out of using most features. Sounds mundane, I know. And it would be had the OS not developed a consciousness accompanied by periodical tantrums.
As for the other two ships? If you've ever touched a 'Rebel' and an 'Aggressor' before then be my guest. If not? Let's just stick to having a friendly drink.

The situation in Ontario seems to have shifted. A previously solid wall guarding Planet Sudbury from aliens and their thralls is showing cracks.
I can't begin to tell you how important it is to keep both aliens and the LSF as far away as possible from that place. I talked with Viper before on this topic. How Sudbury might be a direct reaction to what is happening in Omega-58 and by default right next to your doorstep. I guess destroying Valhalla has come at quite the cost in the end.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that the Xenos are holding the line with very few who truly back them up against increasingly difficult odds - myself among them.

Preventing LSF access is now a high priority aim.
If you are comfortable facilitating our communications with the Xeno command structure, send us a manifest of resources that will prove useful for reinforcing the cordon. Our forward operating base will need to relocate to administrate this retooling of our logistical supply lines - please also forward several candidate locations in or around Ontario that will provide a safe but non-threatening staging area while the Xenos acclimate to our presence.
Finding a place to bunker down in or around Ontario might be a bit tough. The only one that comes to mind is called 'Thunder Bay Depot'. Don't mind the Junkers though. Fontana is a second alternative, though the Xenos like orbiting the place. You'll be straight-up neighbors.
We can all settle on the finer details during a proper meeting. Either come yourself or send someone that has their homework done thoroughly. I'll be there one way or another to support the joint effort. Something over the net would be easier... usually. As for where and when? I'll let you know through other means.
If all goes well I will set up a secure Neural Net connection for future use. Sound good?
