I hope this message finds you well. I imagine you are quite busy, what with doing your part in maintaining the Ontario quarantine, though I do hope the Atum's arrival has somewhat eased this burden.

As for my the subject of this message. Our fleet, such as it is, has taken losses of late. To replace these, command intends to acquire a new gunboat, preferably one suited for interdiction and heavy support. Our liaison officer on Fort Ramsey reports that the Xenos have recently adopted the design of the former Insurgency's gunboat, the Series LG-G "Inquisitor." According to the available information, it meets our requirements. Therefore, Section 8 wishes to purchase one of these vessels from Fort Ramsey and hopes that you, Commander, will assist us in securing a fair deal. You will of course be compensated for your efforts.

To tell you the truth I had no idea the Atum had arrived in system. But that's good news, something I'll gladly inform the Assembly about. Pilots have noted a down-tick in frustrations by.. unorthodox elements. The doing of your colleagues in hindsight, I presume as much anyway.

Your liaison is correct, we do produce Inquisitor class gunboats. More specifically reproductions of the original better suited for our situation and intended methodology of warfare. You'll find the engines have been overclocked, power is biased towards the guns, and that god awful blade at the nose is gone.

It's been replaced by a more practical tool for our militia to quickly board enemy craft. A robotic arm that resembles the vague outline of a clenched fist, concealed beneath is an array of industrial-grade fusion cutters. Nothing withstands that kind of heat at that precise application for long. Once clear of obstruction, the fist becomes a gaping maw as clamps which can vac-seal are engaged.

While I doubt you'll see much use for this yourself, I figure you'll appreciate all the added capability that's on offer.

I'll see about negotiating the release of a militia-grade vessel. Something that would ordinarily go bloody itself in Ontario for our independence. We have two production lines of our own, so I won't need to lock horns with the Steel Circle over leasing charges and production quotas. At least not until our current pact is due renegotiation at the war's end.

What I do really need from you is a reactivation of those supply lines we used to be provided with in exchange for our anti-human solutions. If you, or colleagues of yours in the other cells, can speak to the powers that be and let us draw from that well again then I'll be happy to give you this heap of steel as a token of appreciation.

It's not enough for this militia to just be well regulated.

I assumed The Order High Command would have informed you about the Atum's arrival in the system. Regardless, now you know she is present and has been deploying what wings she can spare to intercept hostiles around Sudbury.

I personally was quite fond of the enormous "blade" when I took a look at the schematics. There is a certain directness about the design that our own vessels tend to lack. But you are correct, the Xenos' modifications will be of greater use to us.

Section 8's material resources are, as I am sure you have been informed of by my predecessor, strained. Nevertheless, I will see to it that 5,000 units of Kemwer-made munitions are delivered to a location of your choice as soon as possible. Confirmation of delivery will be provided on this channel. Command will also reach out to other cells with a request to redirect supplies to your bases, though we cannot make any promises that they will comply.

A crew to take command of the gunboat will arrive with the first delivery of munitions.

Ramsey is getting crowded.

It would be ideal for them to use their own means where possible, unless they intend to pitch in and help us secure Sudbury against all hostile forces including Liberty's. I have no reservations otherwise. We just need the space for the apparent war that's still yet to truly kick off.
