This is small inrp posts of the news feed employees and group members would get. It runs on Bristol Constructions stations and could be realistically read by anyone who can dock there or access the basically unsecured feed from outside.
Inrp these news articles are aimed at employees and not public announcements.
As of yesterday, our operations within Ontario have fully and officially ceased. Mississauga Station was evacuated and everything of value has been retrieved. The developing situation pulls more and more combat and instability to the area with resources deemed not worth the risk. Fortunately the Arcetri Company has once again scaled up their operations allowing many of the displaced employees from Mississauga to find a new employer and role almost immediately.
Today marks day 2 of the official public testing of the Bulwark. With a motivated crew formed from various Bristol Group companies, the second Bulwark, the Pioneer Spirit is performing mixed duties of cargo hauling and small survey tasks to test it to the best of its abilities. Already various companies have approached the board about more information on this vessel. The board of representatives anticipates a boon in demand for all companies in the group. Announcements on going public with this offer will be made once testing is complete which is anticipated for the end of next week. We will keep you updated and would like to remind you that all specifications and the crew roster are available on the Bristol Intra.
After a very successful testing period, the Bulwark had shown to be effective beyond initial hopes and estimations. Sadly this success didn't last long. Despite the ship having been designed to be under Sirius wide requirements for warships, various houses have classified it as such. We've been completely locked out of three houses, our own Bulwark models stranded and a purchase from any legal entity becoming unlikely at this point. The difficult decision was made to cancel the production of Bulwark-class ships and to mothball the current craft. The Arcetri company might maintain a local craft but considers the expenses weighed off against maintaining a craft that cannot pick up supplies for the installation.
We thank all employees for the success of this craft and aim to channel this energy to a new project as soon as possible. The existing infrastructure will be used to prepare shipyard components for sale..
Thank you Mr Anderson, QA for pointing out this system's continued existence.
Unfortunately, we have seen the stepping down of Ms Wheeler, citing health concerns. She has proven to be an irreplaceable asset to Bristol, a treasure to Sirius, and we at Bristol will need to pull all the more in compensating for the loss. While she is taking time on Planet Houston to recooperate and may return back Bristol one day, regrettably we at Bristol cannot wait. As such, Ms Blake of Shackleton Operations Group shall be taking the duties and responsibilities as Bristol representative to the greater Sirius community.
Lobbying efforts, both privately and through third party organizations, have succeeded without question. The Bulwark program has exceeded expectations as the houses highlighted previously have come around in classifications and allowances, drawn by corporate sponsors and groups interested in operating the Bulwark without restraint. In addition, the Omicron market appears to be largely neglected for the needs of a large, heavily armed merchantman which the Bulwark neatly filled. The powerplant strength sees it serving as trader, escort, research vessel, and more.
As such, our vessels today see service throughout Sirius, from major house corporations and affiliates like Galway, Weiss, ALG, Caledonia to our friends in the Omicrons, Phoenix and fellow Zoners to even the Rheinland Military and MND. Over fifty hulls from Akutan and Arcetri now ply the trade lanes and beyond, with more to be added to that number.
It cannot be understated that this success could never have been made possible without all employees on deck, and a congratulations and a half is most certainly overdue. It is only through the continued cooperation of all personnel that such vessels can be built at all and Bristol - and Sirius as a whole - is better for it. We intend to continue Bulwark production as before.
Moving ahead, participation in Bristol operations in Galileo in regard to Platinum mining and continuance in securing the Platinum fields are highly encouraged for all Bristol employees, permanent and independent. Our success there has been attributed to our continued aggression in pursuance of profit. In keeping Bristol's legal standing, however, we would like to highlight the following policies:
If DSE or Samura vessels are detected in Platinum fields, deploy available quick response assets from Arcetri. If offending vessels have full cargo hold, order them to vent their cargo immediately and bring up as much material as possible. Order offending vessels out of the field. If offending vessels fail to comply, engage and destroy.
Freelance miners which are noticed to be supplying ore into Colorado or Shikoku shall be considered offending vessels.
If offending vessels have provided proper communications and were compliant, immediately dock at Arcetri. If offending vessels have signalled intent to return or were not compliant, Bristol encourages involved pilots to continue patrols in the area for a reasonable period of time.
Cease all harassment operations if Liberty Navy or Kurasi Naval Forces are detected in system.
If confronted by DSE or Samura, highlight affiliation with a Bristol subsidiary and operations guidelines, declaring yourself as an independent contractor under Galileo Treaty. All applicable Bristol subsidiaries are registered under the Treaty and free from restrictions provided you publicly obey all laws and regulations, as well as operate under a certain monthly margin of ore gathered. To circumvent this, we recommend pilots reference ship names changed, being under shifting subsidiaries, or being under different ownerships and captaincies whenever questioned.
Bristol recommends all employees encourage freelance miners to fly under Bristol IFF and supply ore to Arcetri station, highlighting prices at Arcetri compared to others, though this is not considered to be of vital, immediate importance. Freelance miners who decline are not considered hostile.
Convoy operations are expected to commence within the year, starting with moving Deuterium out of Cleveland. The exact, complete routes being considered are still in development due to potential legal and security concerns.
We would like to close by again thanking all employees of Bristol, permanent and independent, for the continued hard work in making Bristol the company it is today. It's your efforts which make the Bristol name known, your efforts which make the Bristol machine thrive.
To all employees, associated contractors, and independent personnel who make use of our facilities on Arcetri Station in Galileo:
The current security situation has rapidly deteriorated in recent months between Liberty and Kusari. As a direct result, all pilots are advised the following…
Traverse trade runs between Liberty and Kusari in heavy, Edgeworlds-worthy vessels only. Piracy is expected to be on the rise due to the degradation of relations.
Halt, answer all questions, and obey all orders from Liberty Navy, Liberty Security Force, Kusari Navy, and Kusari State Police while traversing Liberty and Kusari space. We expect both House’s forces to be paranoid at this time. Give them no reason.
On sighting of an engagement between Liberty and Kusari forces, exit the Trade Lane at once and keep well clear of the engagement at a minimum distance of 10K. If en-route to mining or returning from mining, do so at best possible speed to protect your vessel and your crew.
If halted by one of the above listed parties and the other House forces arrive, exit the area immediately in order to protect your vessel and crew.
Should your vessel and cargo be destroyed during routine Galileo transits or operations by one of the above listed parties, be sure to provide image proof of the engaging vessel(s), communications logs for the encounter, cargo manifests, and claimed damaged in order that a full reimbursement may be initiated.
