I'm looking to find out about the Gunboat Railgun (Internal) (External) meaning,
where each is mounted and where/why & the difference between them both.
Someone shining light on this matter would be most helpful, thankyou.
There might be some guide about them but tho i do have near perfect eyesight
i just don't have the ability to look!
While most gunboats mount their forward gun externally, some have a forward gun baked into their model. Examples include the Asco, the Hathor or the Condor. The external and internal variants of a forward gun are indentical in performance. The difference is that the external one has a fully animated model for the ships mounting them on the outside. The internal ones are invisible and have no model, and are meant for gunboats that have a built-in forward gun.
In order to not have an invisible forward gun, or a gun inside a gun, the variants are not interchangeable, so you need to know in advance which gunboat you want to mount it on. You cannot mount an external gun on the Condor, or an internal gun on the Defiant, for example.
