Okay, so certain ships are better at killing one kind than another. If you've played Fire Emblem, think of the Weapon Triangle/Trinity of Magic.

Examples:
Sword beats Axe beats Lance beats Sword.
Fighter beats Bomber beats Gunboat beats Fighter.
Cruisers beat Battleships beat Battlecruisers beat Cruisers.

Freighters and Transports lack strength in combat without backup, like the Bow and Light Magic.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

Instead of 'Fire Emblem' you could have just gone with 'paper scissors stone'

This is generally the format for all multiplayer games. Otherwise everybody just flocks to the 'ultimate' class.

Nag. I've been playing Path of Radiance lately.

At any rate, it's just something I happened to notice, and Rock-Paper-Scissors doesn't cover transports/freighters.

That's your theory, this is mine, I suppose.

Depends on your play style.

Well, that's what seems to be the consensus here.

That's what you think. Clearly you've never seen an IMG Battleminer.
