I've received word that our open contract with the Core base in the Omicrons is nearing completion. We have fully stocked Super Alloy as well as High Temperature Alloy to their warehouses maximum SCU. We're now working on the Quantum Multiplexors from Kusari. Luckily, Iridium is cheap in the Omicrons and bringing this in to the various locations where we sourced the other materials is making us some money on the side of this contract.

Additionally, we have taken over stewardship of a station located near Liberty. While I wasn't keen on operating one of these, it's location makes for ease of upkeep. Once the original owners return, we will be handing the keys back to them. Even if they don't, then we have a nice tidy warehouse off the books in an area not commonly frequented. A win-win.

The shipping contract for the Core base has been completed well ahead of schedule. All materials have been fully stocked to their capacity. Additionally, our temporary home near Liberty has been overhauled and brought up to spec as well. The only thing we are waiting on now is this supposed communication we are to have with the Order for shipment details on a proposed contract. While I am excited at the prospect of another money making opportunity, we need to be careful shipping to both the Core and the Order at the same time. Keeping these contracts well away from one another is key to ensuring we keep a healthy relationship with both parties.

Still standing by on a reply from DSE for our proposed Longhorn-class Frigate to ensure safer trips bringing things into the border and edge worlds. Having a vessel of that caliber making routes to the Omicrons would help me sleep better at night for sure.

With things purring like a kitten, the only thing left to do is keep up with shipping cargo and travel for our passengers. With that in mind, let's hop to it.

We've begun with shipping items to Susquehanna Station in Cortez. Luckily aside from one or two items, their requests are fairly easy to stock. One of our captains took the initiative to nearly fully stock them with Xenobiotic Fibers! Quite the initiative!

We've also obtained our new ship from DSE, the Leavenworth. This is a Longhorn Frigate meant for flying through the more dangerous areas of Sirius such as the Omicrons and Omegas. It will be beginning it's trek down to the Core outpost there to check stocks and begin restocking whatever items they've used while the Zero Gravitas will move to working on the Zoner research station in Tau-23. Additionally, we should be looking into possibly getting a Palace Liner or outright purchasing the Errant Venture from the Orbital second fleet so that it can be used under our banner.

Shipyard Closure & Materials Bazaar

So our brief foray into starship manufacturing has come to a close. While we possessed the manpower, materials, and shipping capability, the sheer amount of materials that were needed borders on insanity. As such, we have shuttered the shipyard and moved on from this business venture. I want to thank all that participated in this experiment but you can't always break into certain markets with the tools you have.

Instead, we have shifted to providing these materials on our bazaar for a slight markup from their standard prices for those who wish to buy these materials in one place instead of all over the sector. While our warehouse is not open for everyone, we will grant access for those who are under shipping contracts so that they may collect them on their own should they wish to do so. While we have no concrete contracts with anyone as of yet, this does not mean that these materials will go to waste. Hopefully, this will be the carrot for those other corporations to open contracts with us.

With our Magellan base being operational for a month now, we've moved back into supplying stations with materials across Sirius. Our open contract with the Core base in Delta as well as the DSE base next door has left us flush with credits despite many setbacks. While those setbacks has hit us in the pockets, we have no intentions of slowing down on our open contracts and any future ones proposed.

Additionally, the Bazaar we originally planned to enact at our Magellan base has been axed due to security concerns. Until such a time as we feel like we are safe revealing the location, for now it shall remain in the shadows and function as a warehouse for various shipyard and maintenance materials for our clients in the vicinity. Things such as Optronics, Cryocubes, and other hard to reach materials will be stocked there for delivery to our clients.

Operations are moving at a breakneck pace.

Our operational tempo within Rheinland has stepped up. With Imperial Shipping utilizing our cargo services to not only move their operations from one installation to another but to complete deliveries of various goods and materials to their new warehouse, the Rheinland government itself granting us leave to ferry passengers between Gallia and their capital, and even the MND requesting us to deliver goods to [BLACKOUT], our tempo has stepped up considerably.

With that tempo, comes record profits. The Keelhaul, our most active transport, has netted a profit of 43 million credits. Quite the impression. We also purchased an Archon Mining Platform from Impala Station, an installation in Shikoku. We plan to use it for Uranium mining in Leeds. The Uranium stocks are quite overloaded aboard Cape Horn and I am in the process of reaching out to ALG to see if they have a site we can deliver the radioactive ore to in order for them to refine it for the purposes of power generation. They've yet to reach out, but I am hoping they do so soon. It's possible there are other locations that can use the Uranium, however. Maybe reaching out on the Neural Net would net me a buyer.

Our Passenger line has also seen a sharp uptick in profits due to the Tourism rush between Gallia and Rheinland of late with profits soaring to 10 million almost overnight. The Odyssey has been working overtime shuttling passengers to and from the two houses whilst dodging pirate patrols seeking to damage our reputation for keeping our passengers safe. Quite the ordeal to be certain.

All this to say that, morale is high and profits are higher. Cannot argue with that. Another month gone and more record breaking profits to attain.

Per my employment contract with Horizons, I am making this log on the 23rd of April, the year of our lord 835 A.S.

The trips continue unabated. As of the writing on this communique, there have been no attempted interceptions of the Odyssey. We have, however, heard tales of those rapscallion's in the Brigands taking hostages from many a liner passing through Gallia space of late. We have been, thus far, blessed with not having stumbled onto any of the brutes. However, I am keeping my eyes open and wits about me should there be a crossing of swords in the near future.

We will continue our routes so long as they are open and we have the contract of the Rheinland Government to do so. I will update more should it be required of me. Tony Juliard signing off.

Things have been quite busy of late with various contracts coming in from across Sirius. We recently picked up two in the far flung region of Tau-23 with great success. Ms. Butler has been running her "wheels" off trying to attend to all of these contracts. We may need to hire additional Cargomasters with offers of signing bonuses to bring them into the fold. Freelancer pilots are content with flying for themselves but if we offer a carrot, maybe we can get some more hands.

This possible war brewing between Liberty and Kusari isn't good for business. No doubt we will still be able to sneak in via Tau-23 or Kepler, both add risks and time to our routes which means slower generation of credits...but if we want to maintain our image of capable exporters and travel then we need to accept this risk and carry on. Should things truly turn sour between the governments, we will need to ensure that our people maintain their loyalty to Horizons and not to their government as that can certainly cause problems in the long run.
