In 2004, a film group came to my school and looked at school photographs. Myself and 4 others where chosen out of 780 children to audition for a movie called "50 ways of saying Fabulous"

I traveled an hour to the venue where auditions where taking place to spend 5 minutes in front of a cheap camcorder saying "Do I know you" in the most dramatic way I could about 5 times.

I was told I was going to be contacted if I got the part, but never was. So today, I decided to see if the film actually got off the ground. Note please, at the time I auditioned I had absolutely no ideas as to what the theme of the movie was at all. I typed the proposed title in to YouTube and what do ya' know. I got a trailer for the 2005 film.

Trailer 1:

Preview:

At first I laughed, then I became a tad insulted...Then I because angry whilst still laughing at the top of my lungs. After about 5 minutes, I remembered something a wise old man told me.

"Sometimes what you don't get can be a blessing in disguise"

Pro's:
- I would have a lot more money then what I have now...
- I would have an agent
- I would be able to be in more movies
- I would make even more money

Cons:

- I would be called nasty things at school
- This film would become a bully's dream ammunition.

I think that I'd still rather not have star'd in the movie at all.

Your thoughts?

:Gulp:
Lucky escape there...
Probably should have twigged with the use of the word "Fabulous". Only one section of male society uses that word.
So, err...which one were you gonna be?

Sacrifice my high school reputation > Have 10 gran more then I have now.

Anyway , I can only say that the film looks A) Gay and B) Cinema unworthy.

Did they tell you how much they where gonna pay ? And yeah , who where you "supposed" to be?

I laughed. Although the pros sound cool, I don't think that it'd be the kind of movie you'd want to act in while in school, or even after for most people. Close call there:P.

Reminds me of a similar bullet I dodged, my dad works with some film crews and they were looking for someone to play a crook in crime stories. I almost fit the character except for my blond hair, which I refused to dye. Turns out the guy was caught "sleeping" in the same bed as his accomplice (both dudes)

So..... yeah.

Brilliant!

Yeah that's sorta creepy actually, and the movie looks like complete trash lol, sorry, but it's true.

They never told me. But back then, I was tall for my age, blond. So, I was probably going to be the not so chubby kid.

It is extremely creepy. I actually became physically ill when I saw it. My mother said she would not have let me do it even if I was chosen. To be honest I probably wouldn't have wanted to anyway. Like a few have mentioned....It would be like committing college reputation suicide.

I never saw it in the theater over here. It looks like absolute crap (especially the dream scenes) and defiantly not cinema worthy. They probably laughed as hard as I did.

Of course, now I have to see it. It is already 42.3% done. I'll give you my review in this thread when I have watched it. :D
