I always keep busy. Doing well is up for debate, but I'm still alive, so I'd say I'm not doing poorly.
The technical abilities of the Lane Hackers remain at the service of Malta, and, as chance would have it, I have something I'd like to ask of you as well.
But, before that, what do you require from my skills?
Anything I can offer to enhance your outlook, just say.
What I require is a few sets of identification papers which will fool any Liberty authorities auditor. I haven't contacted them yet, but I intend to get in touch with Bristol to get my hands on a few of their new ships. We both know they like to keep their noses clean to the authorities so the identification papers will need to be presented to Bristol upon hopeful purchase of their ships, to remain on their file so when and if audited by Liberty authorities, they can "play dumb" legitimately or not need to play dumb at all.
Five sets, for five ships please senor. Given this is pretty much your bread and butter, I can't imagine it'll be to difficult, no?
I don't care much for what the paperwork says, just as long as it's passable- Those collecting the ships will study and mimic the material.
Let me know if you'd need anything from me for this and of course, what payment to offer.
False Identifications are certainly within my capabilities. These will be very short term identifications, as the LSF maintain a rigid and persistent information update network, no more than a day or so.
The way it will work is, on the day your men are sent to obtain the ships, they must activate the fake IDs. This will override forward facing networks such as Ageira's and the LPI's, allowing you to obtain the ships without raising any alarms. At some point, generally within a day, the Mitchel servers on Prison Station Fairbanks will force update the network, and your IDs will be flagged as illegitimate, raising alarms in LSF, Liberty Navy, and LPI. By that point, I hope your men to have long departed the area.
Bristol will have to feign ignorance, or truly be ignorant, one or the other. When questioned, they have to answer that they were also deceived by you, and probably report it to Interspace Commerce as a loss or theft if they have insurance.
After that, there should be very little issue. As this is a very simple and easy procedure, payment won't be necessary. I'll deliver the forged IDs to Malta in the coming days.
On to my concern: I am approaching an important time in life. Three years ago, the Blackout struck, and while the situation was solved in 31 hours, I was still stuck at home for safety reasons for several months. To cut a long story short, we are approaching the third birthday of my little ones. They were born from two people who are bound to Cardamine. While not related to any family in Malta, Malta is very much in their blood.
You are a symbol of an older time, where more traditional Maltese values flourished, and the unity of the Orange Alliance was much stronger. Though I haven't been to Malta in some time, when last I was, it was you who was the only one flying the Cross. Every other banner was that of individual families. Even though the Cross is emblazoned on the Ranseur, it seems very few respect it.
Therefore, to better equip them for the future they will eventually have to face, and to give them an environment where the walls are covered in the banners of old glories, and not new failures:
I formally ask you, Vin Chenzo, Don of the Cross of Malta, to stand as the godfather of Michael and Lilith Ling.
Eventually, Age will catch up with me. She will be much slower to catch you. Times are hard. They will only get harder from here. I hope that, when there comes a time that I can no longer, you will safeguard and guide them.
}-He is clearly very taken aback by the request, almost showing emoticon from his usual stone face-{
You are very correct in saying that most Maltese alive today have seperated themselves from the core values of what it is to be Maltese, si. Haraberro and his men & women have their heart's in the right place, though. I'd die defending them against our foes. The Maltese cross actually has a functional role on the Ranseur, but I digress.
You, or anyone you vouch for will always have a home within Granja Justa upon Malta or indeed on floor 69 of Comercio Fantasma, both equipped with ample ships, resources and a life of luxury.
But for you, your personal family, should you wish; they can be raised in the Maltese way, the proper way as dictated by the times of the 101st.
I do trust that we have many, many years of knowing one another before the need for this arrangement to require actioning.
I am deeply honoured that you wish to even consider myself and those I trust with your own.
You are of course all welcome at any time.
As for my request, I've been monitoring Bristol's shipyards and they almost have five lined up ready to go, I imagine within a few weeks now they may be ready, albeit for other customers but that's not important for now.
this is quite the request. Not only do you wish to order five ships, which will be a large order, they're supposed to 'vanish'. It is certainly possible to produce an order of this size but it cannot simply disappear.
If the Lane Hackers are already working on the plausibility of this task, we'd prefer a simple, legal purchase. There is companies they do business through. And while Bulwark purchases would probably need to be split among them, this would be far more plausible. I plan to work and hold my position within Bristol's board for a long time. Something I will not be able to achieve by losing an entire fleet of Bulwarks.
I am certain that they can make this happen. As for maintenance, sending crews and parts up to Alpha will be very costly due to the risk and sheer distance from Bering where we produce the proprietary parts. Again not impossible merely difficult. We can arrange for it whenever urgent repairs or regular maintenance occur though we should seek a different solution for the long term.
Do let me know if this can be arranged and if we ought to begin production. Discounts for bulk already assume, we'd be at about 14,000,000 per ship, not including any maintenance agreements of any sort.
Thank you and good bye!
Transmission Ends
Perhaps supply with one ID at a time? Regardless, let me know what can be done please. The Orange Haulage Industry requires it.
Your assistance, as always would be greatly appreciated.
My apologies for the delay. I've been handling the information on small but fairly urgent influx of a new narcotic by the name of Slog.
The delay will continue. The drug itself is unimpressive, but the attached politics are fascinating. And also seem to pose a threat to the Lane Hackers at large. If you would like, I can forward the information to you.
