. . With Christmas around the corner, the Discovery GC staff have an announcement to make! POBs will be placed into holiday mode for the duration of the holiday season. This will start at server restart from 19th of December and lasting until the 5th of January. Wear & tear on POBs will stop No daily consumption of FOW or Repairs Invulnerability is turned on Seige declarations are invalidated Crafting will work as normal Deploying bases is disabled Merry Christmas to everyone out there . .

Unfortunately, this also froze our newly deployed base from completing it's Core HP build within hours of being deployed.
I was looking forward to single-handedly speed-building a full HP Core 3 with modules in 10 days. (again)

The Holiday Mode setting is global, applies to all bases.

It's meant to give PoB owners some relief over the holidays. In addition, any bases deployed shortly beforehand are frozen to ensure their suppliers don't speedrun their bases to Core 3, preventing any roleplay consequences from occuring from any unfriendlies.

I'm afraid there's no way to opt out. Go enjoy your holidays, you can resume regular player base activities after January 5th.

Bumping this to announce Holiday Mode has just been turned off.

This will take effect NEXT restart, so in like 23 hours from now. Forgot to switch it over earlier, so there'll be a day delay on getting them back into normal usage and degradation.
