To all Order operatives, allies and our trusted suppliers. As some of you may already know, The Order had come under attack from synchronized assault on two fronts. An expected and known enemy, the Core moved on us in Omicron Zeta at the exact same time as infected forces - bolstered by both Navy and Intelligence pilots from House of Kusari began their all-on onslaught in the Wall of Seth nebula. The Order Overwatch believes it was no coincidence and yet further proof that not only the higher echelons of Kusari have been infiltrated, but the Core are also used as their thralls: willing or not, it would not be the first time the Core’s leadership has been compromised. House Kusari as usual continues to underestimate the Nomad threat and despite being 2nd most affected state during the 800 AS conflict, it has not implemented lessons that Rheinland learned the hard way.
The Order has reaffirmed its control over the Wall of Seth. Sekigakara-class warship, battleship Hakodate, which was known to operate in Omicrons for some time now, was destroyed in the fighting in no small thanks to support of Blood Dragons revolutionaries. It had been known as the flagship of Kusari’s office of naval intelligence. Loss of such a technologically advanced asset will severely impact not only their power projection in the Omicrons; it is also a severe blow to their fleet at large. The Order, once again, has proven it is ready to stand up to any challenge.
Core, as proven time and time again, is a threat to the whole of mankind. Its fleet, equipped with untested and dangerous AI technology was sent to dislodge our entrenched position in Omicron Zeta with intent of marketing their solutions, a field demonstration to convince the Houses of the value the Core brought to the table. Not only did they fail miserably in their task but due to their greed, sheer incompetence and negligence on a scale not seen before, the AI ‘enhanced’ and piloted battleship Mars went rogue and turned on its former allies. All of it broadcasted to Sirius at large. With loss of human crew expected to be near total, an unspecified number of Core capital assets are believed to be on the run, operating autonomously under genocidal subroutines. Full consequences of their irresponsible actions remains to be seen but one thing is known: The Core has birthed yet another horror and it has released it upon Sirius.
The threat is not over however. It is advised that any allied convoy heading though Omicron Zeta should reinforce their escorts considerably. Nomads, largely absent for a time (with exception of their infected thralls) have now started emerging from the Pohnpei nebula in extreme numbers. The real scale of their attack cannot be measured at this point, however even most conservative estimations put it as a lethal threat to our depleted garrison in Omicron Zeta. The Order remains dedicated to keeping this supply route open, however we cannot exclude the option for this third vector of attack to be a definitive push. The Order fleets are currently regrouping to prevent Omicron Minor from happening ever again.
