---

The chaos felt in the aftermath of the attempted bombing of Deshima Station continues to echo through the great Houses of Liberty and Kusari. Whilst the great powers busy themselves with the escalating trade war, the legal machine slowly stirs to life. Frustrated with how the Kusari government had handled the bombing of Roppongi, Synth Foods Inc is refusing to let the attempted destruction of one of their most significant investments go unpunished. Their legal department had assembled the best team their money could buy over the decades, and they intend to take their best lawyers directly to New Tokyo and do everything within their power to force action. The Farmer's Alliance however, has gotten wind of their movements, and is not about to let the opportunity to capture or kill the Synth Foods team go to waste. The Alliance plans to intercept the Synth Foods legal team before they can reach New Tokyo and make an example of them.

After the attempted bombing of Deshima Station, the local guild security forces have been restlessly stirring. Whilst the Liberty government has assured the Bounty Hunters Guild that the men will be properly tried and convicted for their crimes, many aboard the station found themselves wanting to take matters into their own hands for such a brazen attempt to destroy Deshima. The head of Deshima's security division, Rutherford Cantwell, took it upon himself to approach Synth Foods Incorporated with a bold plan: lure the Farmers Alliance out into the open with irresistible bait, and wipe out as many as they can get away with. Synth Foods of course, had no qualms about sacrificing some credits and equipment to allow the Guild to extract some frontier justice, free of charge. And there was no shortage of hunters volunteering for the mission. Synth Foods prepares an armored gunboat with a volunteer skeleton crew, and begins to spread word through the Kusari courts about the imminent arrival of their lawyers...

And the Farmers Alliance takes the bait. But will their ships survive the trap laid out by the Guild vigilantes?

Details:

• Farmers Alliance forces will take position halfway down the lane from the New Tokyo gate and Planet Junyo. The BHG will split into two groups. One will hide in the Saiun Cloud, the other will hide behind Planet Seto.
  
  
• A Synth Foods ID gunboat will depart from Deshima, and travel up the lanes towards the New Tokyo gate. The Farmers Alliance will disrupt the lane and surround the gunboat.
  
  
• Once the Synth Foods gunboat is stopped, it will signal the BHG ships to move in and attack. The gunboat player will then stall for time as long as possible while the BHG ships move from their hiding spots and directly to the gunboat's rally point.
  
  Since I haven't been able to find a volunteer for the gunboat on discord yet, anyone who volunteers for the near suicidal task of flying the Synth Foods gunboat will be given a condor for the event and be free to keep it for their own use once the event's concluded. the SFS-Asheville will be piloted by @Reeves for this event
  
  
• The Farmers Alliance will quickly realize it's a trap as the BHG ships close around them in the pincer move. Once the BHG ships are within 2k of the gunboat and/or the Alliance ships, begin the battle.
