34TH BRIGADE RECRUITMENT PAGE

All applications to the Brigade are your applications for transfer into its ranks from existing units of the Order, or your desire to be assigned to the Brigade (since you haven't been in any Order unit before - //indie-ID without any faction tag). It's also likely that you may have learned about Brigade recruitment while being in Order-related organizations (Bundschuh, Blood Dragons), which can also be used for your character's lore.

  • About Brigade recruitment campaign through related organisations: X

No one is stopping you from using alternative paths if they are indeed reasonably justified. We may also invite you to join our ranks when RPing in space, which can be noted in the character's bio. After completing the application, we will invite you to our Discord and discuss everything in person, after which a final decision will be made.

Applications completed outside of the template will be automatically rejected.

34TH BRIGADE APPLICATION FORM
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, FOR OFFICIAL USE
MAIN INFORMATION

Name: Adrian "Void" Kaelis

Age: 33

Origin: Toledo

Character photo: LINK (unnecessary)

Skill profile: Command, Intelligence

Biography:
Background & Motivations

Adrian Kaelis (Formerly Lord David Sekuta Cole, Aspires to become The Orders Shadow of Sirius)

Origins & Early Life (0 - 18)

Born as Lord David Sekuta Cole on New Tokyo, he was the heir to a powerful lineage tied to Samura Heavy Industries and the Gas Miners Guild. His parents’ arranged marriage was part of a larger political maneuver—one of many such unions designed to solidify Samura’s dominance over Kusari’s economy. Raised among the elite, Sekuta was groomed for a high-ranking corporate position, expected to eventually take part in the intricate web of corporate politics and power plays.

Yet, from an early age, he was restless. He saw the corporate elite as little more than a gilded cage, where honor was a façade and alliances were dictated by profit and control rather than principle. While he was given the best education and trained in diplomacy, economics, and even some covert tactics used in business warfare, his heart yearned for something more. At 18, he abandoned the privileged life that had been laid out for him, escaping into the vastness of space in search of adventure and freedom and later became a trader and part time bounty hunter.

The Fall from Grace & The Path of Vengeance (18 - 22)

His pursuit of freedom was short-lived. While he was away, his parents were brutally murdered by Cardamine-addicted criminals—Kusari natives who had fallen into addiction due to the influence of the Golden Chrysanthemums and their Outcast suppliers. The loss shattered him. His family had been one of the wealthiest and most powerful in Kusari—how could such an atrocity happen without consequence?

his families wealth was frozen so he couldn't make use of the inheritance. The Kusari government turned a blind eye, and even Samura refused to acknowledge the crime, lest it expose their own vulnerability.

With no justice to be found in the courts of Kusari, Sekuta turned to the only path left to him—vengeance. For four years, he hunted down those responsible, waging a personal war against the Golden Chrysanthemums and the Outcasts, dismantling various small smuggling operations with fellow sympathizers along with working with some blood dragon operatives who had a particularly keen incentive to assist him due to similar incidents, he was ambushing drug convoys, and assassinating key figures.

His investigation led him to a harrowing truth: his parents' deaths were not random. They had been assassinated by hired Chrysanthemum mercenaries who had gotten teens between the ages of 15 and 25 addicted to drugs and made to do heir bidding or they would cut off their supply. These mercenaries were paid by rival corporate factions seeking to weaken Samura’s internal power structures.

He found the men who killed his parents and took them to rehab instead of killing them, and swore to avenge the mercenary group that did this to them.

But revenge is a dangerous game

When he finally uncovered the conspiracy behind his parents' murder—evidence that could expose high-ranking officials and corporate figures—the tables turned.

He found out that his uncle was the person who ultimately had the wheels turn that lead to his parents death, he spent 1 year gaining his trust in his service and was invited to his home when he was offered a high level position alongside him. It was then that he informed his uncle that he knew everything all along, and had him transfer the wealth he stole from his parents and put it into his account, before murdering him via overdose of the very drugs he built his wealth on.

He escaped to his ship and went into space when a notice was sent out. Before he could act, he was framed for the very crimes he had fought against. Accused of smuggling Cardamine, he became a fugitive overnight. Hunted and out of options, he disappeared into the shadows, seeking refuge with one of the few factions in Kusari that opposed the regime—the Blood Dragons.

The Blood Dragons & The Path to Intelligence (22 - 25)

With the vendetta successful and his former life in ruins, Sekuta no longer sought revenge. He lacked purpose. The Blood Dragons, Kusari’s insurgent faction, offered him one. Though their uneasy alliance with the Chrysanthemums was difficult to stomach, he understood the greater goal—toppling the corrupt Kusari government.

Unlike many recruits, Sekuta was not a simple warrior. He had been raised among the elite, trained in the art of negotiation, deception, and corporate warfare. These skills proved invaluable. He leveraged his old connections, gathering intelligence, infiltrating supply chains, and manipulating financial networks to benefit the Dragons. He became an informant, an analyst, and a strategist and he soon learned to see the bigger picture.

Joining The Order (25 - 28)

The Order, humanity’s secret line of defense against the Nomads, saw potential in him. His knowledge of Kusari’s underworld, his tactical mind, and his growing experience in intelligence work made him a valuable asset. When the offer came, he did not hesitate—he joined their ranks as an agent.

For three years, he operated in Kusari under The Order’s directive, tracking infected individuals, exposing covert Nomad influence, and sabotaging operations that threatened human sovereignty. However, duty soon called him elsewhere. The growing Nomad threat in Liberty required experienced operatives, and he was reassigned to the battleship _Atum_, embedded in Liberty’s underground resistance.

The Liberty Assignment & Meeting Koji Yasu (28 - 33)

In Liberty, he resumed his work, exposing corruption, countering Nomad influence, and gathering intelligence. The political landscape was different from Kusari, but the enemy remained the same. It was here that he met Koji Yasu, a fellow Kusari native and scientist working for the Brigade—a specialized military-scientific unit focused on combating Nomads and infected entities.

The Brigade’s work intrigued him. Unlike The Order, which operated on a broad scale, the Brigade specialized in the study and eradication of Nomad threats with an almost surgical precision. It was a unit dedicated to both knowledge and warfare, ensuring that humanity could not only fight but understand its greatest enemy.

After the harrowing battle of _Atum and Wyoming_, where the Liberty underground suffered great losses, he made his final decision. The Order had given him a purpose, but the Brigade offered something more—a place where he could refine his skills, expand his knowledge, and take the fight to the Nomads with a precision he had never known before.

He chose to join them.

34TH BRIGADE APPLICATION FORM
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, FOR OFFICIAL USE
MAIN INFORMATION

Name: Ba'alah (Mistress) Rana Yusef.

Age: 31 y.o.

Origin: Planet Stuttgart, Rheinland.

Character photo: Hit me.

Skill profile: Xenoarchaeology/Command/Intelligence/Combat

Biography: Yusef was born in an averagely sized mining commune on Frakfurt; inheriting unbridled curiousity from her mother and blessed with lots of free time she's quickly demonstrated an introverted nature and more interest for the books and unexpectedly - ships, their classification and specs; quietly invested into learning and mostly staying in the background of her commune's business for most of her childhood. It is as the girl matured and her interests has become more and more technically-inclined regular books and just gazing on passing spacecraft traffic didn't satisfy her anymore, she's started looking for more... curious sources to satisfy her thirst for knowledge, and while many schematics could be acquired on open market with little investment - or none at all - but the same could not be said about those used by the military, search for that information quite early brought her to grey and consequently - black market when it's less mature version did not meet the demand.

The aura of casual, friendly mystery is what appealed to people in her and it is this charm that opened several curious doors, she was not making a big deal of her hobby of collecting information - vague or precise technical information only ever got stored to her memory and never left it, nor was ever used to malicious ends, so the quiet woman was ultimately left alone and to her own devices.

Her hobby also made her a subject of interest for Order network in Rheinland and after thorough vetting, Yusef was approached for final evaluation of her usefulness as an asset - not much of a combatant, her charisma, extraordinary memory and connections around Liberty and Rheinland black markets could still benefit the enigmatic group.

34TH BRIGADE APPLICATION FORM
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, FOR OFFICIAL USE
MAIN INFORMATION

Name: Astrid "Talousem" Weber

Age: 31

Origin: Planet New Berlin, Rheinland

Character photo: (//This is bait lmao)

Skill profile: Intelligence + Combat

Biography:
Early Life (804-826 A.S./Age 0-22): Born into the soft life of New Berlin's intelligentsia and "champagne socialists", Astrid spent her early life and young adulthood among people who talked tough but never seemed to take action. After getting a degree in spacecraft engineering, Astrid left her homeworld in search of a higher purpose.

Bundschuh Membership (826-833 A.S./Age 22-29): She contacted the Bundschuh via past connections, and joined their ranks as a mechanic. During the events of the Rheinland Civil War, she became the pilot of a smuggling vessel and received some rudimentary space combat training. Her reliability as a pilot eventually earned her reassignment to the Thuringia system, where she gathered intelligence from the inside of a sophisticated Light Fighter loaned to the Bundschuh by the Order. On this assignment, she first made contact with Order personnel and even flew alongside them. After learning the truth about the Order's mission and the Wild Hunt's origin, Astrid came to respect the Order's cause more than that of the Bundschuh. Astrid would continue to fly missions for the Bundschuh for a time after the Civil War Armistice.

Order Membership (833 A.S - Present/Age 29-31: After the controversial end to the Rheinland Civil War, Astrid considered the Bundschuh movement to be ineffective. Additionally, the growing anarchist movement within the Bundschuh had come to dominate the Bundschuh's agenda, despite Astrid's reservations about the effectiveness of anarchism. She met with her Order contacts on Tennstedt and asked to quietly join the Order without making a scene of "leaving" the Bundschuh. Astrid's request was accepted, and a cover story was drafted. She started as a freighter pilot, but her firebrand enthusiasm for the Order's mission earned her the nickname "Talousem", meaning "Little Maiden" in the Order's esoteric battle language. With an ever-growing need for pilots, the Order eventually began promoting Astrid and giving her increasingly more combat-oriented assignments. Currently, she is a corporal in a small bomber wing. She requests a transfer to the Hades Brigade in hopes of getting to contribute more to ending the Nomad threat to Humanity. She is particularly disgusted by the Nomads' use of possession and the horrors this ability has inflicted on Rheinland over the years.

34TH BRIGADE APPLICATION FORM
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, FOR OFFICIAL USE
MAIN INFORMATION

Name: Lex Hale.

Age: 25

Origin: Planet Manhattan, Liberty.

Character photo: LINK (unnecessary)

Skill profile: Xenoarchaeology+Intelligence+Combat

Biography: Lex was born in 810 A.S. on Manhattan, at the very heart of Liberty. His father was a xenoarchaeologist — one of those researchers who obsessively studied the ruins of the ancient Dom'Kavash civilization, collecting and cataloguing artifacts, conducting comparative analyses of relics across various sectors. Some saw it as an eccentric quirk, others as madness, but for Lex’s father, it was a lifelong calling. And, oddly enough, it was this passion that allowed him to provide for the family.
But then, everything collapsed.
During the events later known as the Colony Wars, Liberty was swept by a wave of violence, covert purges, and inexplicable bans. Raids struck the homes of researchers, collectors, former expedition members, and even simple artifact enthusiasts. The Hale household was broken into, the entire collection confiscated without explanation, equipment destroyed, and all records incinerated in disposal furnaces. It wasn’t just a personal catastrophe — a true manhunt began. He wasn’t imprisoned, but the feeling of being watched never left.
Lex hadn’t been born yet, but he clearly remembered the distorted look on his father’s face when he spoke of those days.
Since then, Lex had been haunted by one question: what really happened? Why did even the slightest hint of artifact research lead to the destruction of reputations, destinies, and entire lives?
Before the academy, he could only gather fragments. Public sources offered only neutral lines: “Donau incident,” “terrorist threat,” “President Jacobi’s ban on the study of unknown-origin artifacts.” These official reasons never justified the cruelty he suspected. And the more he looked, the more doubts he had.
After enrolling in West Point Academy, Lex chose cybersecurity as his primary focus, while also completing a piloting course for light fighters. He stood out — primarily for his persistence. Graduating with honors, he received an offer from the Liberty Security Force (LSF) and was assigned to the California system.
There, he met a fellow officer named Jared — a man with a sharp sense of humor, open mind, and, as it turned out, a clear purpose. They often discussed past events, Liberty’s shadows, and gaps in the archives. Step by step, Jared guided Lex toward one conclusion:
— Have you ever wondered what really triggered the bans and mass raids on everyone even remotely involved in artifact research? Why did the authorities outlaw it with such fury, as if it wasn’t just technology, but an existential threat?
Lex just shrugged. Jared smirked.
— Why were people, who just a day earlier were the prime targets of every agency, suddenly cleared of all charges and awarded the highest honors?
Lex remained silent, but doubt and confusion were written all over his face.
— Because it was a threat. Not to humans — to them. To those pulling the strings from the shadows. The Houses were no longer ruled by who we thought they were. And the artifacts... they were the only way to stop them.
Lex tried to brush it off. But Jared didn’t stop. He handed Lex an encrypted file titled “The Order.” Cracking it turned out easier than expected. Inside were fragments of reports, intercepted transmissions, data on the Omicrons and the Omegas, and mentions of an alien race — allegedly from another galaxy. And most importantly — hints at the true reasons behind the destruction of the Donau and the secret war within the Houses.
The file ended with a single message:
“You have two paths:
One — close this file and keep serving.
Two — understand that you and your skills are needed elsewhere.
The choice is yours.”
Lex didn’t take long to decide.
A few days later, the Lane Hackers triggered a data leak. Lex and Jared were sent to the Galileo Gate to trace the source of the signal. But they never returned. Officially, they were marked as missing in action. In truth, this marked the beginning of Lex’s new life — as an agent of The Order.
For the next five years, Lex operated throughout Sirius. He analyzed signal intercepts, cracked encrypted files, and eliminated saboteurs embedded by Nomad agents. The work was dark and dangerous, but finally gave him the answers that had haunted him since childhood.
In 835 A.S., Lex received a new assignment — to travel to the Omicron Delta system and report to Dabador Station. He was told he’d be met by an Order pilot who would brief him on the operation. The task seemed routine at first glance, but it was there that his path crossed with the 34th Order Long-Range Expeditionary Brigade: “Hades.”

34TH BRIGADE APPLICATION FORM
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, FOR OFFICIAL USE
MAIN INFORMATION

Name: Kunrad Amhrad

Age: 29

Origin: Freeport 9, Omicron Theta

Character photo: [...File recieved.]

Skill profile: Intelligence, Combat

Biography:
Early years:
Kunrad was born on a Freeport 9, in a peaceful, yet affected by criminal entities, zoners community.
He always was tied to starship operating, since his father was trading freighter pilot. Throughout his youth, Kunrad always showed his sharp wit in terms of learning and decisionmaking. The examples are simple yet showing: making deals in his mother's shop in a port's market and helping his father on his ship while he was on a trading routes when he came of age of his late teens. The last made it's part in future of Kunrad - he fell in love with spaceship piloting and made a decision to tie his life with this craft as soon as the chance appear. As Freeport 9 was the eye of the storm between the Outcasts and the Corsairs, of course, the young Amhrad was involved in some shady, to say the least, business, but he never stepped out of his own code: never deal drugs, never deal with the unknown alien "things".
Middle years:
Time has passed, Kunrad, already ahold of some life experience, became a pilot himself. Although, the aquirement of the ship was somewhat tragic due it was passed from his father, who was cought in a crossfire in a random shootout between a corsair and an outcast. Kunrad sold the freighter and bought the Eagle which was more suitable for his new occupation - being one of the militant zoners.
He strated as a patroller around the freeport. That wasn't a har time, since space in Omicron Theta was relatively safe for the Freeport 9 residents because of it's location in between the influence of the Outcasts and the Corsairs at the same time. Excluding, of course, rare agressive "guests".
Some time later, Kunrad made contact with one of the far wandering traders, captain Stan Getz, who was looking for protectors on his routes. The money from patrolling wasn't half bad, but the young Amhrad's ambitions were leading him for more. And being one of the convoyers could provide more of desired credits. The trading transport went throgh the Omega systems, since Stan was, indeed, connected to Corsairs, and then, passing Bretonia space, all the way to Tau systems, Freeport 10 in particular. It was the second part of the route, which requered convoyers, since there captain Getz didn't have any sort of agreement with pirates and bandits of there's. In that time, Kunrad was getting his space skirmishes experience and not half bad at all. So to say, every journey was a success for him. Untill...
Captain Stan Getz, as any of the businessmen, craved more profits. He took a gamble: venturing out to the Omicron Delta for more "exotic" wares to resell. And, for a big irony and tragedy, that mission turned out to be a slaughter exactly after the trading goods were aquired. The convoy, which Kunrad, as always, participated in, became a victim to the Wild's and their masters ambush. The distress signal was sent by the main transport ship, but the fight was a lost cause from the very beginning. Zoner fighters were exploding one after another, the transport took heavy damage and Kunrad - well, he was one of the last men standing. The miracle happened - out of the nebula the Order patrol arrived, guns blazing at the Nomad's thralls and the aliens themselves. Although, the survival of the Amhrad was surprising, it was too early to make any assumptions about a pilot, who did not just survive but had put up a solid fight against the humanity's greatest outside threat. Though, the attention was, indeed, cought.
That trip had catastrophic consequenses for the convoy captain: the gamble and setting all-in on his bugdet did not pay off, as the main transport was heavily damaged and all of the cargo is lost during the fight. Kunrad had seen no more reason to stay beside a failed businessman...
But in that time another turn of the wheel of fortune was, well, very unfortunate. The Outcasts left the Freeport 9, leading it to be overran by the Corsairs. Due to tragic circumstances, Kunrad's mother passed, trying to reason with the corsairs on a rampage. Nothing more held Amhrad to that station and he, indeed, listened to the voice of reason, not going for the revenge. Not in the stupid form of "fly to the Freeport and killing Corsairs on sight".
The Freelancer years:
Denial of the new rulers of the Freeport 9, led Kunrad to become a freelancer mercenary, starting over from the Freeport 11. He did various gigs all across the Sirius sector, but mainly focused on the Edge and Independant worlds. Bounty hunting, sometimes - participating in convoys, extracting lost cargo and moving passengers. To the note: he always was glad to take on a job, that was disrupting or straight on engaging the hated Corsair operations. At least, moving on from the past was a blessing of some sort: a couple of years of freedom, and freedom well-paid, an opportunity to venture far, see the world outside of the home system and standart trading routes did a good job of scoothing the pain of tragedy and building his character even more strong and collected.
The Order did not forget what Amhrad and other zoner militia pilots did, but Kunrad was the only one still reachable for contact for a reason that is still in need to be proved. As Kunrad visited Freeport 11 again, an Order operative reached out for him. Amhrad was already tested and spotted way back then, on that failed captain Getz hustle, as someone who could not only survive, but get the job done. He did some jobs for the protectors of humanity itself, sometimes - assisting in a research convoys, of course, being kept away from the important information, sometimes - recon operations here and there if the mission needed to be performed as someone unnoticeable which a freelancer like Kunrad is. Operatives became one of his primary employers because the Order was pleased of Kunrad's battle skills and survivalability during engages with Nomads, and Amhrad himself wasn't complaining about the payment nor the greater cause, which was totally correlated with his personal rules.
After a few years of various successful combat and intelligence operations, due to Kunrad knowing a bit too much for a former zoner freelancer and because of the assurance of him as a worthy new recruit, Amhrad was invited to join the Order. Even when it was an offer that he couldn't refuse, Kunrad accepted it gladly.
The Order years:
Kunrad Amhrad's tracking record among the pilots is not yet astonishing but still look promising. Most of the raids on Nomad artifact traders were brilliantly performed, as well as the skirmishes with the Nomads' and the Wild squads themselves. In particular missions he took the right decisions both in his own duels and, overall, in the fight itself. His ability to, when needed, think outside of the box and advise others to follow his line of thought, give it's promises to move upwards in the line of command. Yet, still it needs it's proof through time and he is definetly in need of the officer's courses to make this talent work in the greater scheme of things. Lately, he got a reccomendation letter to join The Brigade, as it is the unit where his skill and his talent will have a chance to shine and of course, prove the promises of his good start under the Order's banner.
