Most of our heavy transports are currently undergoing repairs and are unavailable for active duty. At this rate, even our Rheinbier shipments need escort fighters — and let’s just say morale took a sharp dip after the last crate was intercepted. Turns out, nothing motivates a mechanic like the promise of cold Rheinbier... or the heartbreak of losing it.

To prevent further delays in the station’s development, we are requesting OSI’s assistance in delivering the following materials:

• 5,000 units of Optronics

To make this worth your time and effort, we offer the following compensation:
• 115 SC per unit of Titanium
• 155 SC per unit of Optronics
In addition, we are providing a flat bonus of 50 SC per unit delivered, totaling an additional 750,000 SC upon full contract completion. This amount can be transferred to any account or location of your choosing — please indicate your preference in your reply. As stated, time is of the essence.

On another note, I'm currently docked at your station with a little something extra: 500 units of excellent Rheinland beer, compliments of us. Unfortunately, your loadmaster can't accept it right now since it's not on the official delivery list.

Sorry for not checking with you about this beforehand – I was hoping it would be a nice surprise! You’ll be amused to know that my holopad nearly overloaded with comms the moment your crate of Rheinbier arrived. I had to pause my research just to sift through a flurry of confused, excited, and mildly desperate messages from the crew. Apparently, you caused quite the stir down there.

Still, I must say—I'm oddly proud of them. Despite their well-known fondness for Rheinbier, they stuck to protocol and refused to accept the shipment since it wasn't listed in the delivery manifest. Discipline like that is rare… though I suspect a few of them hovered suspiciously close to the hold longer than necessary.

Not to worry—I’ve already authorized the necessary documentation. Your generous cargo will be officially received and stored soon. Just make sure security doesn’t sample too much of it—we both know how “festive” they can get when they think no one's watching.

As Dr. Lorne informed me, the deliveries have commenced in earnest — your vessel OSI-Servantio has already brought in the first 10,000 units. That leaves 20,000 still to come, which I have no doubt will arrive with your usual precision.

For the sake of clear books — and to allow our accountants to work without grinding their teeth — kindly confirm the account to which the transfer should be sent once the final shipments are complete.

I must also mention: you’ve managed to make our esteemed friend Dr. Lorne positively radiant, like a child handed his very first toy. Few things in this sector please him more than swift responses to his requests… though I suspect the true benefit is that rapid deliveries leave him less time to indulge in his “creative” fixes with spare scrap and duct tape.
