Since the Zeta incident the Core has seemed somewhat adrift, so it is reassuring to see you reorganizing just as tensions are mounting. Between the Corsairs’ renewed expansionism and Nomad activity at levels we have not witnessed in years, stability in the region is precarious. I understand that Zeta proved especially punishing for your forces; we were glad to help extract the majority of your personnel.
Several matters now require attention. To begin with, a number of Core crew remain stranded on Freeport 11, while others would like passage out of the Omicrons and onward to House space. Any arrangements you can make—particularly for the former—would be greatly appreciated.
Looking ahead, Phoenix proposes a broader partnership focused, at least initially, on commerce. By coordinating logistics and escort services, we can strengthen both our organizations and secure the resources needed to counter regional threats. If our diplomatic ties continue to deepen over time, we can then explore exchanging key materials and technical expertise. Complementing this commercial pillar, we suggest a mutual-defence understanding: should Nomads or Corsairs strike at any of our installations in the Edge Worlds—the Omicrons, Sigmas, or Omegas—we would coordinate our responses to repel the assault.

Greetings, I believe this will be our first interaction.
I would like to introduce myself as Duke Silverton, a Red Admiral of the ARM division of Core. To start with, the hierarchy of the main fleet has collapsed and fell into disarray. They focused too much on their corporate ideals and forgot that space is a dangerous place. A valuable lesson was learned from the Crisis of Zeta, one I personally will remind of others and not forget myself. Is it the main reason for the founding of the ARM? No but there are many reasons for it. However, re-organization will be our first priority as we have problems to address, goals to achieve, and plans to finalize. With these in mind, we shall succeed where our predecessors could not.
Going back on the Zeta crisis, we have already been notified of the situation and we will soon be prepared to take them off your station. Where they want to go is their choice, and we will ship them out when ready. As for the data banks, those will be secured in remote facilities on Nauru, for both their protection and our own. When you are ready to receive us, a transport convoy will be prepared to ferry refugees back to Durban, and data banks to Nauru.
And as for logistics and commercial benefits, those intrigue me quite so. We have the local firepower of the second fleets, but we lack any form of organized logistics since APM, has also fallen into disarray since the fall of main fleet command, and that hit us hard. Working with you in trade and commerce, however, will likely fix this problem and help us organize a more formal and efficient way of trade and logistical organization. Also, as we work together, our enemies will try to work against us. Our mutual benefits as you mentioned, should include mutual defense of one another to maximize the effectiveness of both our efforts. The Corsairs and the Nomads have both been problems, but if we work together, we stand a better chance against a common foe.
I personally will look forward between the cooperation between the ARM, and Phoenix.

Excellent news. I’ll notify the Freeport 11 crew to expect your convoy and will have docking bays set aside for you.
I’m glad we are aligned on the broader issues. I’ll establish a secure emergency channel so we can respond quickly to any threat in or around the Omicrons.
As for logistics, send us your requisition list and we’ll fold it into our current convoy schedule. Admittedly, our timetable is tight—each time the Corsairs try to claim Theta as their hunting ground we suffer delays—but we will accommodate what we can.
Because Theta’s choke point is the only stable exit from the deep Omicrons, I’m also prepared to grant you additional docking rights at Corfu. If you choose to stage a strike force against the Corsairs there, the station already holds the supplies a small fleet would require.

Greetings once again Jonathan, our resource administrators have come up with something.
I have a proposition that could benefit us both, as well as make things easier in the long run.
The Omicrons are a heavily contested region, and the Omegas a dangerous venture. The only way out that is now considered somewhat reliable as you mentioned, is Omicron Theta. That system has access to deeper Sigmas, which will reach to Kusari space. The Omegas also will connect to Theta as it is the fastest way to get to Bretonia. The problem here is that these systems are lawless, and full of pirates from Corsairs, Hessians, and other elements. If we could get our convoys out of the Omicrons and into house space safely, we will have a much easier time shipping out our exotic goods. Considering the dangers of these systems, we could set up a mutual benefit here.
The Omicrons and Omegas are rich with resources, but what's the point if our soldiers can't eat? We will need basic supplies to keep our fleets and stations up and running. Including our people, if we are without basic supplies, we will simply perish. In turn, we could escort your needs in and out of frontier space to the houses and back in again. If we manage to keep Corsairs and their like at bay, we should have no problem sustaining ourselves and surviving out here on the fringe.
As for the docking point on Corfu, we will make good use of that for mounting raids against the Corsairs.

Given the value of your escort in these uncertain times, I’ve already requested our Corfu administrator to allocate dedicated docking bays for your use. With Freeport 9 lost, those berths have become especially valuable—I trust they’ll serve you well.

Greetings and salutations Jonathan, we have an accord then.
The quartermaster will know best for any logistical needs; you can get the trade fleets to get into contact with him. As for Corfu, I am honored to have docking bays for our forces, we will make good use of them. Since we have kicked the Corsairs out of Delta, we will be able to return the favor by defending Theta from further Corsair aggression. The Omicrons are a dangerous place, but they are tamable just like any other beast.
