Background

Eight years ago, as the Legion came to the aid of Battlegroup Harmony during the scouring of Bering, their old allies in the Xenos saw the opportunity to capture their forward staging base, Outpost Hesperia. Embittered and jaded with the old alliance for so many reasons, the Outpost's defense garrison fell quickly with the bulk of the Legion's forces occupied elsewhere. Rechristened Fontana and placed under a new administration loyal to the Xenos, the resurgent remnants of the Legion within Task Force Prometheus now seek to sway the Freeport's administration from their Xenos leanings in a show of force, striking out at Xenos patrols in their old base's vicinity.

This recurring event has been crafted first and foremost with the intention of creating a controlled environment for a fair fight between the two parties, without unexpected interference. It is our hope that such an event will build a rapport between members of both factions and encourage future interaction between them. While the current plan involves only the TFP/Auxo and the Xenos, other elements such as the Rogues could be considered in the future depending on how event turnout looks.

While the battle will take place within the asteroid field, hugging the Ontario gate will not be permitted. All loadouts are currently permitted, but announce if you are bringing a missile loadout so that the other side can prepare and respond accordingly.

Roster

We won't be setting a limit on slot numbers, but a large amount of slots (which probably won't often be filled) have been added below to aid with organization of the event. Participants will be expected switch sides if necessary should one or the other is lacking in members. Pilot skill will also be factored in this event. A @Haste will not be weighted the same as a @Petitioner, for example. Allowed ships will be limited to fighters and gunships. Please announce exactly what class you will be bringing.
