Statement by Lord Mitsuo on Shikoku Incident

"I strongly condemn the Republic's brazen moves, without a doubt seeking to sow chaos and provoke our peaceful nation into war. Let me be clear, unlike our southern neighbors, Kusari has no intentions of bringing Galileo into its fold, however this unprecedented attack leaves us no room but to seek alternatives to our current policies. We reserve the right to respond as we deem fit over the coming days."

"I have ordered that all units in Shikoku be put on high alert, and that they begin increasing, in earnest, patrols within the Galileo system. I will personally visit the border in the upcoming hours to assess the state of our forces. Long live the Emperor, and may Kusari prevail.".
