Commander Struikas has tasked me with debriefing you with an after action report and post-action BDA of the INS Arcturus. Before we begin, I would like to inform you that I've yet to receive access to Incursus to contribute directly to reports and intelligence, however I have undertaken using best encryption for this message.
With that said:
Departing from Vespucci Freeport, we began at full cruise away from the station to the Magellan Jump Hole, and from there, to Cortez. We encountered brief power fluctuations in cruise, which initially seemed to be intermittent, but was in reality a sign of a more dire matter. At +00:07:42 from operation start, powerplant primary high voltage line (PHVL) #113 suffered a catastrophic failure that knocked out power to the cruise propulsion bus, resulting in moderate damage to the primary engine, but otherwise the system was intact. However, it would take until nearly an hour later at 00:46:07 when the cruise propulsion bus would be successfully rerouted via the now inoperable fire control radar's power rails.
Upon what amounted to a counter-interception, we continued full impulse past Planet Curacao with no trailers pursuing us. The BARCAP established by our escort was extremely effective in screening threats and preventing us from being targeted. Meanwhile, we continued at best speed away from the battlespace, towards Curacao. Planetary defenses and trade lane CIWS batteries opened fire on us, though miraculously for most of the time in transit whilst in weapons range, the shields held against the fires, however eventually some fires did penetrate and strike the hull.
Once past Curacao, we approached the Orellana Ice Field and proceeded through to Coronado. We continued at impulse, managing to evade Crayterian patrols and early warning systems, through to Inverness - where we continued onward to Freeport 14, and would wait for clearance from El Alto to arrive for mooring and disembarkment.
As for the BDA:
The INS Arcturus has sustained light damage from the Curacao defense grid, shortly after getting out of visual range of the engagement. Damage was sporadic and primarily focused on the bow and amidships, where further damage to the already inoperable conformal AESA arrays in the bow was sustained. DC Teams confirmed this damage has rendered the arrays wholly inoperable and the Array's entire assembly needs to be replaced entirely, rather than just the antenna panel itself.
Beyond this, most of the damage is pre-existing prior to this battle damage assessment. I will not regale you with the extent of the damage, as I'm certain those who were responsible for resecuring the ship and bringing it into functioning state have already done so extensively. It is my firm assessment, after processing the ship's DCC logs both prior to, and after the engagement, that the superstructure and components of the INS Arcturus will require an exhaustive and expensive repair process that will take a year to bring into combat effectiveness.
If you wish for my support in this endeavor - as I know this vessel clearly means a lot to you, and likely to many of my fellow legionnaires, please do not hesitate to ask for my aid.

I noticed the engine damage when I made the follow up check after she arrived, but I wasn't aware the scanner suite was that busted. Just another thing to add to the pile, I guess.
I wasn't planning for Arcturus to be an overnight rebuild. There's just too much metal and too much work, and I definitely won't turn down the extra hands when I need 'em.
For now, though, I need to get an overall detail on everything that needs work, which means I'm not gonna be keeping an eye on the markets. If you spot anything you think might be valuable to the restoration, feel free to snag it and ship it to El Alto. I've got plenty of empty space in the storage mods, so whatever tech you find I'll find a use for.
Spread it to the rest of the gang, too. More eyes are good eyes.
For now, though, you and Struikas have my thanks. You two did a great job getting her back to me, and I'm grateful.
